Zadok was there, too, and all the Levites who were with him were carrying the ark of the covenant of God. They set down the ark of God, and Abiathar offered sacrifices until all the people had finished leaving the city.

Zadok also went with them. Some of the Levites went with him. They were carrying the ark of the covenant of God. They set down the ark. Abiathar offered sacrifices until all the people had left the city.

And Abiathar came up, and behold, Zadok came also with all the Levites, bearing the ark of the covenant of God. And they set down the ark of God until the people had all passed out of the city.

以色列族遄征時、亞倫及其子、蓋聖室諸器皿、既畢其事、則哥轄子孫可前以舁、惟不可捫聖物、恐致死亡、今所言者、哥轄子孫、當負戴會幕之什物、

祭司七人、以角七、行於法匱前、越至七日、巡城凡七、祭司吹角、

上帝之匱見奪、以利二子、何弗尼非尼哈被殺。

使舁法匱之祭司、自約但河中出。約書亞命祭司曰、自河中出。舁法匱之祭司、既出自約但、足履陸地時、河水復至、盈溢於岸、與前無異。

爾見祭司利未人、舁爾上帝耶和華法匱、則必遄征、從行其後、

昔以色列族及利未人背我、惟撒督子孫、咸為祭司、不背乎我、潔身而守我室、故得此地、

又謂祭司撒督曰、汝乃先見者、爾與爾子亞希馬斯、及亞庇亞塔子約拿單、安然歸邑。

民歸營時、以色列長老議曰、耶和華今日使我敗於非利士人前、曷故。盍攜耶和華約匱、自示羅至此、可援我於敵手。當時有居𠼻𡀔［口氷］間萬物主耶和華之約匱在示羅、以利二子、何弗尼非尼哈在側、民遣使詣彼、以攜之至。既至於營、以色列族大聲號呼、地為震動。

惟祭司撒督、及耶何耶大子庇拿雅、先知拿單、示每、哩以、暨大闢之武士、咸弗協從。

所屬群臣臚列於左、撒督子亞薩哩亞為牧伯。示沙二子、以利何烈亞希亞職繕寫。亞希律子約沙法為史官。耶何耶大子庇拿雅為軍長。撒督、亞庇亞塔為祭司。

告祭司曰、爾舁法匱、民前濟河。祭司從命。

大闢曰、耶和華簡利未人、舁上帝匱、供其役事、歷代勿替、自是舁匱、必以利未人。

哥轄子孫於聖室之什物、以肩負荷、故不給以車。

在彼有祭司撒督、亞庇亞塔助爾、爾於王宮所聞、必告於彼、

亞希突生撒督、撒督生亞希馬斯、亞希馬斯生亞薩哩亞、亞薩哩亞生約哈難、約哈難生亞薩哩亞。所羅門於耶路撒冷建殿之際、斯人為祭司。亞薩哩亞生暗哩、暗哩生亞希突、亞希突生撒督、撒督生沙龍、

嫩之子約書亞召祭司曰、當舁法匱、爾曹七人、以角七、行於耶和華法匱前、

王使耶何耶大子庇拿雅代約押為軍長、使祭司撒督代亞庇亞塔。

舁耶和華匱之人、行才六步、大闢獻牛與肥畜為祭。
