Zadok was there, too, and all the Levites who were with him were carrying the ark of the covenant of God. They set down the ark of God, and Abiathar offered sacrifices until all the people had finished leaving the city.

Zadok also went with them. Some of the Levites went with him. They were carrying the ark of the covenant of God. They set down the ark. Abiathar offered sacrifices until all the people had left the city.

And Abiathar came up, and behold, Zadok came also with all the Levites, bearing the ark of the covenant of God. And they set down the ark of God until the people had all passed out of the city.

亚希突的儿子亚希米勒有一个儿子逃脱了；他名叫亚比亚他，逃到大卫那里。

七个祭司要拿七个羊角走在约柜前。到了第七日，你们要围绕这城七次，祭司也要吹角。

上帝的约柜被掳去，以利的两个儿子何弗尼、非尼哈也都被杀了。

“你吩咐抬法柜的祭司从约旦河上来。”约书亚就吩咐祭司说：“你们从约旦河上来。”抬耶和华约柜的祭司从约旦河中上来，脚掌一落干地，约旦河的水就流回原处，仍旧涨满两岸。

吩咐百姓说：“当你们看见利未家的祭司抬着耶和华—你们上帝的约柜的时候，你们就要起行离开所住的地方，跟着约柜走，

这地要归撒督的子孙中成为圣的祭司，他们谨守我所吩咐的；当以色列人走迷的时候，他们不像那些利未人走迷了。

王对撒督祭司说：“你不是先见吗？你可以平安地回城，你儿子亚希玛斯和亚比亚他的儿子约拿单，你们二人的儿子可以与你们同去。

百姓回到营里，以色列的长老说：“耶和华今日为何使我们败在非利士人面前呢？我们要将耶和华的约柜从示罗抬到我们这里来，好让他来到我们中间，救我们脱离敌人的手掌。”于是百姓派人到示罗，从那里将坐在二基路伯上万军之耶和华的约柜抬来。以利的两个儿子何弗尼、非尼哈也与上帝的约柜同来。耶和华的约柜到了营中，全以色列就大声欢呼，连地都震动。

那时正是收割的日子，约旦河的水涨满两岸。抬约柜的人到了约旦河，抬约柜的祭司脚一入水边，那从上往下流的水就在很远的地方，在撒拉但旁边的亚当城那里停住，竖立成垒；那往亚拉巴海，就是盐海下流的水全然中断。于是，百姓在耶利哥的对面过了河。抬耶和华约柜的祭司在约旦河中的干地上稳稳站着，以色列众人都从干地上过去，直到全国都过了约旦河。

但撒督祭司、耶何耶大的儿子比拿雅、拿单先知、示每、利以，以及大卫自己的勇士都不顺从亚多尼雅。

这些是他的官员：撒督的儿子亚撒利雅作祭司，示沙的两个儿子以利何烈、亚希亚作书记，亚希律的儿子约沙法作史官，耶何耶大的儿子比拿雅作元帅，撒督和亚比亚他作祭司，

约书亚对祭司说：“你们抬起约柜，在百姓的前面过去。”于是他们抬起约柜，走在百姓前面。

那时大卫说：“除了利未人之外，无人可抬上帝的约柜，因为耶和华拣选他们抬上帝的约柜，永远事奉他。”

但没有交给哥辖子孙任何东西，因为他们所事奉的是圣物，必须抬在肩头上。

撒督和亚比亚他二位祭司岂不都在你那里吗？你在王宫里听见什么，就要告诉撒督和亚比亚他二位祭司。

亚希突生撒督；撒督生亚希玛斯；亚希玛斯生亚撒利雅；亚撒利雅生约哈难；约哈难生亚撒利雅，亚撒利雅在所罗门建造的耶路撒冷殿中担任祭司的职分；亚撒利雅生亚玛利雅；亚玛利雅生亚希突；亚希突生撒督；撒督生沙龙；

嫩的儿子约书亚召了祭司来，对他们说：“你们抬起约柜来，要有七个祭司拿七个羊角在耶和华的约柜前。”

王就立耶何耶大的儿子比拿雅作元帅，代替约押，又使撒督祭司代替亚比亚他。

抬耶和华约柜的人走了六步，大卫就献牛与肥畜为祭。
