Zadok was there, too, and all the Levites who were with him were carrying the ark of the covenant of God. They set down the ark of God, and Abiathar offered sacrifices until all the people had finished leaving the city.

Zadok also went with them. Some of the Levites went with him. They were carrying the ark of the covenant of God. They set down the ark. Abiathar offered sacrifices until all the people had left the city.

And Abiathar came up, and behold, Zadok came also with all the Levites, bearing the ark of the covenant of God. And they set down the ark of God until the people had all passed out of the city.

Zadok and all the Levites also came along, carrying the Ark of the Covenant of God. They set down the Ark of God, and Abiathar offered sacrifices until everyone had passed out of the city.

Behold, Zadok also came, and all the Levites with him, bearing the ark of the covenant of God; and they set down God’s ark; and Abiathar went up, until all the people finished passing out of the city.

移營之時、亞倫及其子、掩蓋聖所及其中諸器既畢、則哥轄子孫前來舁之、惟不可捫聖物、恐致死亡、此屬會幕之器具、即哥轄子孫所當舁者、

天主之匱被擄、以利二子何弗尼非尼哈死焉、

爾命舁法匱之祭司、自約但而上、約書亞命祭司曰、爾可自約但而上、舁主約匱之祭司、既自約但中而上、其足方至陸地、約但之水復流故處、漲溢岸外、

諭民曰、爾見祭司利未人舁主爾天主之約匱、則離爾所而從其後、

昔以色列人迷罔迷罔或作悖謬妄為、利未人亦然、惟撒督之子孫為祭司、區別為聖者、不效其尤、仍供我所命之職、

王又謂祭司撒督曰、爾非明見者乎、可安然歸邑、爾子亞希瑪斯及亞比亞他子約拿單、爾曹之二子、亦可偕爾、

民既歸營、以色列長老議曰、今日主使我敗於非利士人前何故、盍請主之約匱自示羅至此、約匱至我中、可救我脫於敵手、民遣人至示羅、由彼以居基路伯間萬有之主之約匱舁來、以利二子何弗尼非尼哈偕至、守天主之約匱、主之約匱既至營中、以色列眾大聲號呼、地為之震動、

時、正收穫之日、約但水漲溢岸外、舁匱之祭司、至約但、足方入水、則自上而下之水、壁立若堆、離撒拉坦旁之亞當邑甚遠、其向亞拉巴亞拉巴或作平原海即鹽海、所流之水悉流絕、民遂由耶利哥相對之處過河、舁主約匱之祭司、在約但河中立於乾地、待以色列眾民過約但、皆由乾地而過、

惟祭司撒督、耶何耶大子比拿雅、先知拿單、示每、利以、及大衛諸勇士、俱不從亞多尼雅、

所屬諸臣、臚列於左、撒督子亞薩利雅為祭司、示沙二子、以利何烈、亞希雅為繕寫、亞希律子約沙法為史官、耶何耶大子比拿雅為軍長、撒督及亞比亞他為大祭司、

約書亞又告祭司曰、爾當舁約匱行於民前、祭司遂舁約匱行於民前、

其時大衛曰、利未人之外、無人可舁天主之匱、因主特選利未人、舁天主之匱、且奉事之、至於永遠、

惟無所給哥轄子孫、蓋其供運聖物之役事、悉用肩舁、○

在彼偕爾有祭司撒督及亞比亞他、爾於王宮有何所聞、則告祭司撒督及亞比亞他、

亞希突生撒督、撒督生亞希瑪斯、亞希瑪斯生亞薩利雅、亞薩利雅生約哈難、約哈難生亞薩利雅、此亞薩利雅、曾在所羅門所建之殿為祭司、亞薩利雅生亞瑪利雅、亞瑪利雅生亞希突、亞希突生撒督、撒督生沙龍、

嫩之子約書亞召諸祭司命之曰、爾舁約匱、七祭司各執角行於主之匱前、

王使耶何耶大子比拿雅代約押為軍長、使祭司撒督代亞比亞他、○
