爾來要無幾時、今我不知何適、安忍使爾從亡、爾仍還都、導爾同儕、願上帝恩寵、真實無妄、恆左右爾。

爾來日無多、我今豈可使爾偕我儕流亡乎、我不知我之何往、原文作我往可往之處不如爾歸、攜爾同鄉人同鄉人原文作兄弟歸、願天主待爾以恩寵誠實、

Then David and his men,[ which were] about six hundred, arose and departed out of Keilah, and went whithersoever they could go. And it was told Saul that David was escaped from Keilah; and he forbare to go forth.

And now the LORD shew kindness and truth unto you: and I also will requite you this kindness, because ye have done this thing.

They were stoned, they were sawn asunder, were tempted, were slain with the sword: they wandered about in sheepskins and goatskins; being destitute, afflicted, tormented;( Of whom the world was not worthy:) they wandered in deserts, and[ in] mountains, and[ in] dens and caves of the earth.

The Lord give mercy unto the house of Onesiphorus; for he oft refreshed me, and was not ashamed of my chain:But, when he was in Rome, he sought me out very diligently, and found[ me].The Lord grant unto him that he may find mercy of the Lord in that day: and in how many things he ministered unto me at Ephesus, thou knowest very well.

Do they not err that devise evil? but mercy and truth[ shall be] to them that devise good.

He shall abide before God for ever: O prepare mercy and truth,[ which] may preserve him.

He shall send from heaven, and save me[ from] the reproach of him that would swallow me up. Selah. God shall send forth his mercy and his truth.

And they shall wander from sea to sea, and from the north even to the east, they shall run to and fro to seek the word of the LORD, and shall not find[ it].
