爾來要無幾時、今我不知何適、安忍使爾從亡、爾仍還都、導爾同儕、願上帝恩寵、真實無妄、恆左右爾。

爾來日無多、我今豈可使爾偕我儕流亡乎、我不知我之何往、原文作我往可往之處不如爾歸、攜爾同鄉人同鄉人原文作兄弟歸、願天主待爾以恩寵誠實、

You came only yesterday. And today shall I make you wander about with us, when I do not know where I am going? Go back, and take your people with you. May the Lord show you kindness and faithfulness.”

大卫和跟随他的约有六百人，就起身出了基伊拉，往他们所能往的地方去。有人告诉扫罗，大卫离开基伊拉逃走；于是扫罗不出来了。

你们既行了这事，愿耶和华以慈爱诚实待你们，我也要为此厚待你们。

被石头打死，被锯锯死，受试探，被刀杀，披着绵羊山羊的皮各处奔跑，受穷乏、患难、苦害，在旷野、山岭、山洞、地穴，飘流无定，本是世界不配有的人。

律法本是藉着摩西传的；恩典和真理都是由耶稣基督来的。

我几次流离，你都记数；求你把我眼泪装在你的皮袋里。这不都记在你册子上吗？

他们必走来走去，寻找食物，若不得饱就终夜在外。

公义和公平是你宝座的根基；慈爱和诚实行在你前面。

凡遵守他的约和他法度的人，耶和华都以慈爱诚实待他。

慈爱和诚实彼此相遇；公义和平安彼此相亲。

愿主怜悯阿尼色弗一家的人；因他屡次使我畅快，不以我的锁链为耻，反倒在罗马的时候，殷勤地找我，并且找着了。愿主使他在那日得主的怜悯。他在以弗所怎样多多地服侍我，是你明明知道的。

谋恶的，岂非走入迷途吗？谋善的，必得慈爱和诚实。

他必永远坐在神面前；愿你预备慈爱和诚实保佑他！

那要吞我的人辱骂我的时候，神从天上必施恩救我，也必向我发出慈爱和诚实。

他们必飘流，从这海到那海，从北边到东边，往来奔跑，寻求耶和华的话，却寻不着。
