So David said to all his servants who were with him in Jerusalem,“ Arise and let’s flee, for otherwise none of us will escape from Absalom. Go quickly, or he will hurry and overtake us, and bring disaster on us and strike the city with the edge of the sword.”

Then David said to all his officials who were with him in Jerusalem,“ Come! We must flee, or none of us will escape from Absalom. We must leave immediately, or he will move quickly to overtake us and bring ruin on us and put the city to the sword.”

Then David spoke to all his officials who were with him in Jerusalem. He said,“ Come on! We have to leave right away! If we don’t, none of us will escape from Absalom. He’ll move quickly to catch up with us. He’ll destroy us. His men will kill everyone in the city with their swords.”

Then David said to all his servants who were with him at Jerusalem,“ Arise, and let us flee, or else there will be no escape for us from Absalom. Go quickly, lest he overtake us quickly and bring down ruin on us and strike the city with the edge of the sword.”

“ Then we must flee at once, or it will be too late!” David urged his men.“ Hurry! If we get out of the city before Absalom arrives, both we and the city of Jerusalem will be spared from disaster.”

David said to all the servants with him in Jerusalem,“ Get up. We have to flee, or we will not escape from Absalom! Leave quickly, or he will overtake us quickly, heap disaster on us, and strike the city with the edge of the sword.”

So David said to all his servants who were with him at Jerusalem,“ Arise, and let us flee, or we shall not escape from Absalom. Make haste to depart, lest he overtake us suddenly and bring disaster upon us, and strike the city with the edge of the sword.”

And David said unto all his servants that were with him at Jerusalem, Arise, and let us flee; for else none of us shall escape from Absalom: make speed to depart, lest he overtake us quickly, and bring down evil upon us, and smite the city with the edge of the sword.

David said to all the servants with him in Jerusalem,“ Get up. We have to flee, or we will not escape from Absalom! Leave quickly, or he will soon overtake us, heap disaster on us, and strike the city with the edge of the sword.”

And David said unto all his servants that[ were] with him at Jerusalem, Arise, and let us flee; for we shall not[ else] escape from Absalom: make speed to depart, lest he overtake us suddenly, and bring evil upon us, and smite the city with the edge of the sword.

So David said to all his servants who were with him in Jerusalem,“ Come on! Let’s escape! Otherwise no one will be delivered from Absalom! Go immediately, or else he will quickly overtake us and bring disaster on us and kill the city’s residents with the sword.”

David said to all his servants who were with him at Jerusalem,“ Arise! Let’s flee; or else none of us will escape from Absalom. Hurry to depart, lest he overtake us quickly, and bring down evil on us, and strike the city with the edge of the sword.”

And all the people were quarreling throughout the tribes of Israel, saying,“ The king rescued us from the hands of our enemies and saved us from the hands of the Philistines, but now he has fled out of the land from Absalom.

And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven has been treated violently, and violent men take it by force.

And the prince shall not take from the people’s inheritance, depriving them of their property; he shall give his sons inheritance from his own property, so that My people will not be scattered, anyone from his property.” ’ ”

Because of the voice of the enemy, Because of the pressure of the wicked; For they bring down trouble upon me And in anger they hold a grudge against me.My heart is in anguish within me, And the terrors of death have fallen upon me.Fear and trembling come upon me, And horror has overwhelmed me.I said,“ Oh, that I had wings like a dove! I would fly away and be at rest.Behold, I would flee far away, I would spend my nights in the wilderness. SelahI would hurry to my place of refuge From the stormy wind and heavy gale.”Confuse them, Lord, divide their tongues, For I have seen violence and strife in the city.Day and night they go around her upon her walls, And evil and harm are in her midst.Destruction is in her midst; Oppression and deceit do not depart from her streets.

And you, Capernaum, will not be exalted to heaven, will you? You will be brought down to Hades!

This is what the Lord says:‘ Behold, I am going to raise up evil against you from your own household; I will even take your wives before your eyes and give them to your companion, and he will sleep with your wives in broad daylight.

So the three mighty men forced their way into the camp of the Philistines, and drew water from the well of Bethlehem which was by the gate, and carried it and brought it to David. Yet he would not drink it, but poured it out as an offering to the Lord;and he said,“ Far be it from me, Lord, that I would do this! Should I drink the blood of the men who went at the risk of their lives?” So he would not drink it. These things the three mighty men did.

Lord, how my enemies have increased! Many are rising up against me.Many are saying of my soul,“ There is no salvation for him in God.” SelahBut You, Lord, are a shield around me, My glory, and the One who lifts my head.I was crying out to the Lord with my voice, And He answered me from His holy mountain. SelahI lay down and slept; I awoke, for the Lord sustains me.I will not be afraid of ten thousands of people Who have set themselves against me all around.Arise, Lord; save me, my God! For You have struck all my enemies on the cheek; You have shattered the teeth of the wicked.Salvation belongs to the Lord; May Your blessing be upon Your people! Selah

If I forget you, Jerusalem, May my right hand forget its skill.May my tongue cling to the roof of my mouth If I do not remember you, If I do not exalt Jerusalem Above my chief joy.

By Your favor do good to Zion; Build the walls of Jerusalem.
