And the woman of Tekoa said to the king,“ My Lord, O king, let the iniquity be on me and on my father’s house, and the king and his throne be guiltless.”

提哥亚妇人说：“我主我王，愿罪过都落在婢女和婢女家族，一切都与我王和王的王位无关。”

提哥亚妇人又对王说：“我主我王，愿这罪归于我和我父的家；愿王和王的王位与这罪无关。”

提哥亞婦人又對王說：「我主我王，願這罪歸我和我父家，與王和王的位無干。」

提哥亞婦人又對王說：「我主我王，願這罪孽歸我和我的父家，與王和王的位無關。」

提哥亞婦人又對王說：「我主我王，願這罪孽歸我和我的父家，與王和王的位無關。」

提哥亞婦人又對王說：“我主我王，願這罪歸於我和我父的家；願王和王的王位與這罪無關。”

提哥亞婦人就對王說：『我主我王，願這罪罰歸我和我父的家，願王和他的王位無罪。』

提克亞的那婦人就對王說：「我主我王，願這罪孽歸於我和我父家！王和你的王權是清白的。」

提哥亞婦曰、我主我王歟、罪歸於我、及我父家、王與國位、均無尤焉、

婦曰、我主我王歟、咎歸於我、及我父之家、爾與爾國、均無尤焉。

提哥亞婦又告王曰、我主我王、罪必歸我及我父之家、與王及王之位無與也、

But the woman from Tekoa said to him,“ Let my lord the king pardon me and my family, and let the king and his throne be without guilt.”

But the woman from Tekoa said to him,“ You are my king and master. Please pardon me and my family. You and your royal family won’t be guilty of doing anything wrong.”

And the woman of Tekoa said to the king,“ On me be the guilt, my lord the king, and on my father’s house; let the king and his throne be guiltless.”

“ Oh, thank you, my lord the king,” the woman from Tekoa replied.“ If you are criticized for helping me, let the blame fall on me and on my father’s house, and let the king and his throne be innocent.”

Then the woman of Tekoa said to the king,“ My lord the king, may any blame be on me and my father’s family, and may the king and his throne be innocent.”

The woman of Tekoa said to the king,“ My lord, the king, the guilt is on me and my father’s house, but the king and his throne are guiltless.”

And the woman of Tekoa said unto the king, My lord, O king, the iniquity be on me, and on my father’s house; and the king and his throne be guiltless.

Then the woman of Tekoa said to the king,“ My lord the king, may any blame be on me and my father’s house, and may the king and his throne be innocent.”

And the woman of Tekoah said unto the king, My lord, O king, the iniquity[ be] on me, and on my father’s house: and the king and his throne[ be] guiltless.

The Tekoan woman said to the king,“ My lord the king, let any blame fall on me and on the house of my father. But let the king and his throne be innocent!”

The woman of Tekoa said to the king,“ My lord, O king, may the iniquity be on me, and on my father’s house; and may the king and his throne be guiltless.”

So she fell at his feet and said:“ On me, my Lord, on me let this iniquity be! And please let your maidservant speak in your ears, and hear the words of your maidservant.

Their blood shall therefore return upon the head of Joab and upon the head of his descendants forever. But upon David and his descendants, upon his house and his throne, there shall be peace forever from the Lord.”

And all the people answered and said,“ His blood be on us and on our children.”

Afterward, when David heard it, he said,“ My kingdom and I are guiltless before the Lord forever of the blood of Abner the son of Ner.Let it rest on the head of Joab and on all his father’s house; and let there never fail to be in the house of Joab one who has a discharge or is a leper, who leans on a staff or falls by the sword, or who lacks bread.”

“ If anyone is found slain, lying in the field in the land which the Lord your God is giving you to possess, and it is not known who killed him,then your elders and your judges shall go out and measure the distance from the slain man to the surrounding cities.And it shall be that the elders of the city nearest to the slain man will take a heifer which has not been worked and which has not pulled with a yoke.The elders of that city shall bring the heifer down to a valley with flowing water, which is neither plowed nor sown, and they shall break the heifer’s neck there in the valley.Then the priests, the sons of Levi, shall come near, for the Lord your God has chosen them to minister to Him and to bless in the name of the Lord; by their word every controversy and every assault shall be settled.And all the elders of that city nearest to the slain man shall wash their hands over the heifer whose neck was broken in the valley.Then they shall answer and say,‘ Our hands have not shed this blood, nor have our eyes seen it.Provide atonement, O Lord, for Your people Israel, whom You have redeemed, and do not lay innocent blood to the charge of Your people Israel.’ And atonement shall be provided on their behalf for the blood.So you shall put away the guilt of innocent blood from among you when you do what is right in the sight of the Lord.

But his mother said to him,“ Let your curse be on me, my son; only obey my voice, and go, get them for me.”

So you shall not pollute the land where you are; for blood defiles the land, and no atonement can be made for the land, for the blood that is shed on it, except by the blood of him who shed it.
