And the woman of Tekoa said unto the king, My lord, O king, the iniquity be on me, and on my father’s house; and the king and his throne be guiltless.

提哥亚妇人又对王说：“我主我王，愿这罪孽归我和我的父家，与王和王的位无关。”

提哥亚妇人说：“我主我王，愿罪过都落在婢女和婢女家族，一切都与我王和王的王位无关。”

提哥亚妇人又对王说：“我主我王，愿这罪归于我和我父的家；愿王和王的王位与这罪无关。”

提哥亞婦人又對王說：「我主我王，願這罪歸我和我父家，與王和王的位無干。」

提哥亞婦人又對王說：「我主我王，願這罪孽歸我和我的父家，與王和王的位無關。」

提哥亞婦人又對王說：「我主我王，願這罪孽歸我和我的父家，與王和王的位無關。」

提哥亞婦人就對王說：『我主我王，願這罪罰歸我和我父的家，願王和他的王位無罪。』

提克亞的那婦人就對王說：「我主我王，願這罪孽歸於我和我父家！王和你的王權是清白的。」

提哥亞婦曰、我主我王歟、罪歸於我、及我父家、王與國位、均無尤焉、

婦曰、我主我王歟、咎歸於我、及我父之家、爾與爾國、均無尤焉。

提哥亞婦又告王曰、我主我王、罪必歸我及我父之家、與王及王之位無與也、

But the woman from Tekoa said to him,“ Let my lord the king pardon me and my family, and let the king and his throne be without guilt.”

But the woman from Tekoa said to him,“ You are my king and master. Please pardon me and my family. You and your royal family won’t be guilty of doing anything wrong.”

And the woman of Tekoa said to the king,“ On me be the guilt, my lord the king, and on my father’s house; let the king and his throne be guiltless.”

“ Oh, thank you, my lord the king,” the woman from Tekoa replied.“ If you are criticized for helping me, let the blame fall on me and on my father’s house, and let the king and his throne be innocent.”

Then the woman of Tekoa said to the king,“ My lord the king, may any blame be on me and my father’s family, and may the king and his throne be innocent.”

The woman of Tekoa said to the king,“ My lord, the king, the guilt is on me and my father’s house, but the king and his throne are guiltless.”

And the woman of Tekoa said to the king,“ My Lord, O king, let the iniquity be on me and on my father’s house, and the king and his throne be guiltless.”

Then the woman of Tekoa said to the king,“ My lord the king, may any blame be on me and my father’s house, and may the king and his throne be innocent.”

And the woman of Tekoah said unto the king, My lord, O king, the iniquity[ be] on me, and on my father’s house: and the king and his throne[ be] guiltless.

The Tekoan woman said to the king,“ My lord the king, let any blame fall on me and on the house of my father. But let the king and his throne be innocent!”

The woman of Tekoa said to the king,“ My lord, O king, may the iniquity be on me, and on my father’s house; and may the king and his throne be guiltless.”

And she fell at his feet, and said, Upon me, my lord, upon me be the iniquity; and let thy handmaid, I pray thee, speak in thine ears, and hear thou the words of thy handmaid.

So shall their blood return upon the head of Joab, and upon the head of his seed for ever: but unto David, and unto his seed, and unto his house, and unto his throne, shall there be peace for ever from Jehovah.

And all the people answered and said, His blood be on us, and on our children.

And afterward, when David heard it, he said, I and my kingdom are guiltless before Jehovah for ever of the blood of Abner the son of Ner:let it fall upon the head of Joab, and upon all his father’s house; and let there not fail from the house of Joab one that hath an issue, or that is a leper, or that leaneth on a staff, or that falleth by the sword, or that lacketh bread.

If one be found slain in the land which Jehovah thy God giveth thee to possess it, lying in the field, and it be not known who hath smitten him;then thy elders and thy judges shall come forth, and they shall measure unto the cities which are round about him that is slain:and it shall be, that the city which is nearest unto the slain man, even the elders of that city shall take a heifer of the herd, which hath not been wrought with, and which hath not drawn in the yoke;and the elders of that city shall bring down the heifer unto a valley with running water, which is neither plowed nor sown, and shall break the heifer’s neck there in the valley.And the priests the sons of Levi shall come near; for them Jehovah thy God hath chosen to minister unto him, and to bless in the name of Jehovah; and according to their word shall every controversy and every stroke be.And all the elders of that city, who are nearest unto the slain man, shall wash their hands over the heifer whose neck was broken in the valley;and they shall answer and say, Our hands have not shed this blood, neither have our eyes seen it.Forgive, O Jehovah, thy people Israel, whom thou hast redeemed, and suffer not innocent blood to remain in the midst of thy people Israel. And the blood shall be forgiven them.So shalt thou put away the innocent blood from the midst of thee, when thou shalt do that which is right in the eyes of Jehovah.

And his mother said unto him, Upon me be thy curse, my son; only obey my voice, and go fetch me them.

So ye shall not pollute the land wherein ye are: for blood, it polluteth the land; and no expiation can be made for the land for the blood that is shed therein, but by the blood of him that shed it.
