王问她说：“你有什么事呢？”回答说：“婢女实在是寡妇，我丈夫死了。

王问她：“你有什么事？”妇人说：“婢女是个寡妇，丈夫死了。

王問她說：「你有甚麼事呢？」回答說：「婢女實在是寡婦，我丈夫死了。

王對她說：「你有甚麼事呢？」她說：「我實在是個寡婦，我丈夫死了。

王曰、爾有何事、曰、我乃嫠婦、我夫已死、

王曰、爾緣何事。曰、我夫已死、遺我為嫠、婢有二子。

王謂之曰、爾緣何事、曰、婢之夫已死、遺婢為嫠、

The king asked her,“ What is troubling you?” She said,“ I am a widow; my husband is dead.

The king asked her,“ What’s bothering you?” She said,“ I’m a widow. My husband is dead.

And the king said to her,“ What is your trouble?” She answered,“ Alas, I am a widow; my husband is dead.

“ What’s the trouble?” the king asked.“ Alas, I am a widow!” she replied.“ My husband is dead.

“ What’s the matter?” the king asked her.“ Sadly, I am a widow; my husband died,” she said.

And the king said to her,“ What is troubling you?” And she answered,“ Truly I am a widow, for my husband is dead.

Then the king said to her,“ What troubles you?” And she answered,“ Indeed I am a widow, my husband is dead.

And the king said unto her, What aileth thee? And she answered, Of a truth I am a widow, and my husband is dead.

“ What’s the matter?” the king asked her.“ To tell the truth, I am a widow; my husband died,” she said.

And the king said unto her, What aileth thee? And she answered, I[ am] indeed a widow woman, and mine husband is dead.

The king replied to her,“ What do you want?” She answered,“ I am a widow; my husband is dead.

The king said to her,“ What ails you?” She answered,“ Truly I am a widow, and my husband is dead.

The Lord sent Nathan to David. When he came to him, he said,“ There were two men in a certain town, one rich and the other poor.The rich man had a very large number of sheep and cattle,but the poor man had nothing except one little ewe lamb he had bought. He raised it, and it grew up with him and his children. It shared his food, drank from his cup and even slept in his arms. It was like a daughter to him. (niv)

One day the trees went out to anoint a king for themselves. They said to the olive tree,‘ Be our king.’“ But the olive tree answered,‘ Should I give up my oil, by which both gods and humans are honored, to hold sway over the trees?’“ Next, the trees said to the fig tree,‘ Come and be our king.’“ But the fig tree replied,‘ Should I give up my fruit, so good and sweet, to hold sway over the trees?’“ Then the trees said to the vine,‘ Come and be our king.’“ But the vine answered,‘ Should I give up my wine, which cheers both gods and humans, to hold sway over the trees?’“ Finally all the trees said to the thornbush,‘ Come and be our king.’“ The thornbush said to the trees,‘ If you really want to anoint me king over you, come and take refuge in my shade; but if not, then let fire come out of the thornbush and consume the cedars of Lebanon!’ (niv)
