婦人說：「願王對耶和華－你的上帝發誓，不許報血仇的人施行毀滅，免得他們滅絕我的兒子。」王說：「我指着永生的耶和華起誓：你的兒子連一根頭髮也不致落在地上。」

妇人说：“愿王记念耶和华你的神，不许报血仇的人施行灭绝，恐怕他们灭绝我的儿子。”王说：“我指着永生的耶和华起誓：你的儿子连一根头发也不致落在地上。”

妇人说：“愿王对耶和华—你的上帝发誓，不许报血仇的人施行毁灭，免得他们灭绝我的儿子。”王说：“我指着永生的耶和华起誓：你的儿子连一根头发也不致落在地上。”

妇人说：“愿王对耶和华—你的神发誓，不许报血仇的人施行毁灭，免得他们灭绝我的儿子。”王说：“我指着永生的耶和华起誓：你的儿子连一根头发也不致落在地上。”

妇人说：“求王凭你的上帝耶和华起誓，不许报仇者杀人，留我儿一命。”王说：“我凭永活的耶和华起誓，你的儿子必毫发无损。”

妇人说：“愿王记念耶和华你的神，不许报血仇的人多行杀戮，免得他们灭绝我的儿子。”王说：“我指着永活的耶和华起誓，你的儿子连一根头发也不会落在地上。”

婦人說：「願王記念耶和華－你的神，不許報血仇的人施行滅絕，恐怕他們滅絕我的兒子。」王說：「我指着永生的耶和華起誓：你的兒子連一根頭髮也不致落在地上。」

婦人說：「求王憑你的上帝耶和華起誓，不許報仇者殺人，留我兒一命。」王說：「我憑永活的耶和華起誓，你的兒子必毫髮無損。」

婦人說：“願王記念耶和華你的神，不許報血仇的人多行殺戮，免得他們滅絕我的兒子。”王說：“我指著永活的耶和華起誓，你的兒子連一根頭髮也不會落在地上。”

婦人說：『願王懷念着永恆主你的上帝，不許報血仇的多行殺滅，來除滅我兒子。』王說：『我指着永活的永恆主來起誓，你兒子連一根頭髮也不至於落地。』

她說：「請王提說耶和華你的神為證，不讓追討血債的人增添毀滅，以免他們把我的兒子除滅了。」王說：「我指著耶和華的永生起誓：你兒子連一根頭髮也不會落在地上。」

婦曰、請王念爾上帝耶和華、不許報仇者復加殺害、免滅吾子、曰、我指維生之耶和華而誓、爾子之一髮、不隕於地、

曰、報仇之戚屬、欲加殺害、請王念爾之上帝耶和華、毋許其滅我子。王曰、我指耶和華以誓、汝子之一毫不隕於地。

婦曰、求王念主爾之天主、不許復仇者、更加殺害、恐滅我子、王曰、我指永生主而誓、爾子之一髮、亦不隕於地、

She said,“ Then let the king invoke the Lord his God to prevent the avenger of blood from adding to the destruction, so that my son will not be destroyed.”“ As surely as the Lord lives,” he said,“ not one hair of your son’s head will fall to the ground.”

She said,“ Please pray to the Lord your God. Pray that he will keep our nearest male relative from killing my other son. Then my son won’t be destroyed.”“ You can be sure that the Lord lives,” the king said.“ And you can be just as sure that not one hair of your son’s head will fall to the ground.”

Then she said,“ Please let the king invoke the Lord your God, that the avenger of blood kill no more, and my son be not destroyed.” He said,“ As the Lord lives, not one hair of your son shall fall to the ground.”

Then she said,“ Please swear to me by the Lord your God that you won’t let anyone take vengeance against my son. I want no more bloodshed.”“ As surely as the Lord lives,” he replied,“ not a hair on your son’s head will be disturbed!”

She replied,“ Please, may the king invoke the LORD your God, so that the avenger of blood will not increase the loss, and they will not eliminate my son!”“ As the LORD lives,” he vowed,“ not a hair of your son will fall to the ground.”

Then she said,“ May the king please remember the Lord your God, so that the avenger of blood will not continue to destroy, otherwise they will destroy my son.” And he said,“ As the Lord lives, not one hair of your son shall fall to the ground.”

Then she said,“ Please let the king remember the Lord your God, and do not permit the avenger of blood to destroy anymore, lest they destroy my son.” And he said,“ As the Lord lives, not one hair of your son shall fall to the ground.”

Then said she, I pray thee, let the king remember Jehovah thy God, that the avenger of blood destroy not any more, lest they destroy my son. And he said, As Jehovah liveth, there shall not one hair of thy son fall to the earth.

She replied,“ Please, may the king invoke the Lord your God, so that the avenger of blood will not increase the loss, and they will not eliminate my son!”“ As the Lord lives,” he vowed,“ not a hair of your son will fall to the ground.”

Then said she, I pray thee, let the king remember the LORD thy God, that thou wouldest not suffer the revengers of blood to destroy any more, lest they destroy my son. And he said,[ As] the LORD liveth, there shall not one hair of thy son fall to the earth.

She replied,“ In that case, let the king invoke the name of the LORD your God so that the avenger of blood may not kill! Then they will not destroy my son!” He replied,“ As surely as the LORD lives, not a single hair of your son’s head will fall to the ground.”

Then she said,“ Please let the king remember Yahweh your God, that the avenger of blood destroy not any more, lest they destroy my son.” He said,“ As Yahweh lives, not one hair of your son shall fall to the earth.”

百姓對掃羅說：「約拿單在以色列中大行拯救，豈可死呢？絕對不可！我們指着永生的耶和華起誓，連他的一根頭髮也不可落地，因為他今日與上帝一同做事。」於是百姓救約拿單免了死亡。

報血仇者可以親自殺死那故意殺人的；他一找到兇手，就可以殺死他。

就是你們的頭髮也都數過了。

「殺人的逃到那裏得以存活的案例是這樣：凡素無仇恨，無意中殺了鄰舍的，就如人與鄰舍同入林中伐木，手拿斧子一砍，本想砍下樹木，斧頭卻脫了把，飛落在鄰舍身上，以致那人死去，這人就可以逃到那些城中的一座，得以存活，免得報血仇的心中發火，去追趕那殺了人的，因為路途遙遠就能追上他，把他殺死。其實他是不該死的，因為他與被殺者素無仇恨。所以我吩咐你說，要為自己指定三座城。耶和華－你的上帝若照他向你列祖所起的誓擴張你的疆土，將所應許賜你列祖的全地給你，你若謹守遵行我今日所吩咐的這一切誡命，愛耶和華－你的上帝，天天遵行他的道，就要在這三座城之外，再添三座城，免得無辜人的血流在耶和華－你上帝所賜你為業的地中間，血就歸到你身上了。

或因仇恨用手打死人，打人的必被處死，他是故意殺人的；報血仇者一遇見兇手就可以殺死他。

所羅門說：「他若作賢明的人，連一根頭髮也不致落在地上；他若作惡，必要死亡。」

所以我勸你們吃點東西，這是關乎你們獲救的，因為你們各人連一根頭髮也不至於掉落。」

掃羅向婦人指着耶和華起誓說：「我指着永生的耶和華起誓，你必不因這事受罰。」

約拿單對大衛說：「你平平安安地去吧！因為我們二人曾指着耶和華的名起誓說：『願耶和華在你我中間，以及你我後裔中間作證，直到永遠。』」大衛就起身走了，約拿單也回城裏去了。

使那無意中誤殺人的，可以逃到那裏。這些要作為你們逃避報血仇者的城。殺人者要逃到這些城中的一座，站在城門口，把他的事情陳訴給那城的長老聽。他們就要接他入城，給他地方，讓他住在他們中間。若是報血仇者追上了他，長老不可把他交在報血仇者的手裏，因為他是無意中殺了鄰舍的，並非過去彼此之間有仇恨。他要住在那城裏，直到他站在會眾面前受審判；等到當時的大祭司死後，殺人者才可以回到本城本家，就是他所逃出來的那城。』」

憑誠實、公平、公義指着永生的耶和華起誓；列國就必因他蒙福，也必因他誇耀。」

亞伯蘭對所多瑪王說：「我指着耶和華－至高的上帝、天地的主起誓：

報血仇者在逃城邊界外遇見他，把兇手殺了，報血仇者就沒有流人血之罪。

你若苦待我的女兒，或在我的女兒以外另娶妻，雖沒有人在場，你看，有上帝在你我中間作證。」

亞伯拉罕對他家中管理他一切產業最老的僕人說：「把你的手放在我大腿底下。我要叫你指着耶和華－天和地的上帝起誓，不要為我兒子娶我所居住的迦南地的女子為妻。
