Then she said,“ May the king please remember the Lord your God, so that the avenger of blood will not continue to destroy, otherwise they will destroy my son.” And he said,“ As the Lord lives, not one hair of your son shall fall to the ground.”

妇人说：“愿王记念耶和华你的神，不许报血仇的人施行灭绝，恐怕他们灭绝我的儿子。”王说：“我指着永生的耶和华起誓：你的儿子连一根头发也不致落在地上。”

妇人说：“愿王对耶和华—你的上帝发誓，不许报血仇的人施行毁灭，免得他们灭绝我的儿子。”王说：“我指着永生的耶和华起誓：你的儿子连一根头发也不致落在地上。”

妇人说：“愿王对耶和华—你的神发誓，不许报血仇的人施行毁灭，免得他们灭绝我的儿子。”王说：“我指着永生的耶和华起誓：你的儿子连一根头发也不致落在地上。”

妇人说：“求王凭你的上帝耶和华起誓，不许报仇者杀人，留我儿一命。”王说：“我凭永活的耶和华起誓，你的儿子必毫发无损。”

妇人说：“愿王记念耶和华你的神，不许报血仇的人多行杀戮，免得他们灭绝我的儿子。”王说：“我指着永活的耶和华起誓，你的儿子连一根头发也不会落在地上。”

婦人說：「願王記念耶和華－你的神，不許報血仇的人施行滅絕，恐怕他們滅絕我的兒子。」王說：「我指着永生的耶和華起誓：你的兒子連一根頭髮也不致落在地上。」

婦人說：「求王憑你的上帝耶和華起誓，不許報仇者殺人，留我兒一命。」王說：「我憑永活的耶和華起誓，你的兒子必毫髮無損。」

婦人說：“願王記念耶和華你的神，不許報血仇的人多行殺戮，免得他們滅絕我的兒子。”王說：“我指著永活的耶和華起誓，你的兒子連一根頭髮也不會落在地上。”

婦人說：『願王懷念着永恆主你的上帝，不許報血仇的多行殺滅，來除滅我兒子。』王說：『我指着永活的永恆主來起誓，你兒子連一根頭髮也不至於落地。』

她說：「請王提說耶和華你的神為證，不讓追討血債的人增添毀滅，以免他們把我的兒子除滅了。」王說：「我指著耶和華的永生起誓：你兒子連一根頭髮也不會落在地上。」

婦曰、請王念爾上帝耶和華、不許報仇者復加殺害、免滅吾子、曰、我指維生之耶和華而誓、爾子之一髮、不隕於地、

曰、報仇之戚屬、欲加殺害、請王念爾之上帝耶和華、毋許其滅我子。王曰、我指耶和華以誓、汝子之一毫不隕於地。

婦曰、求王念主爾之天主、不許復仇者、更加殺害、恐滅我子、王曰、我指永生主而誓、爾子之一髮、亦不隕於地、

She said,“ Then let the king invoke the Lord his God to prevent the avenger of blood from adding to the destruction, so that my son will not be destroyed.”“ As surely as the Lord lives,” he said,“ not one hair of your son’s head will fall to the ground.”

She said,“ Please pray to the Lord your God. Pray that he will keep our nearest male relative from killing my other son. Then my son won’t be destroyed.”“ You can be sure that the Lord lives,” the king said.“ And you can be just as sure that not one hair of your son’s head will fall to the ground.”

Then she said,“ Please let the king invoke the Lord your God, that the avenger of blood kill no more, and my son be not destroyed.” He said,“ As the Lord lives, not one hair of your son shall fall to the ground.”

Then she said,“ Please swear to me by the Lord your God that you won’t let anyone take vengeance against my son. I want no more bloodshed.”“ As surely as the Lord lives,” he replied,“ not a hair on your son’s head will be disturbed!”

She replied,“ Please, may the king invoke the LORD your God, so that the avenger of blood will not increase the loss, and they will not eliminate my son!”“ As the LORD lives,” he vowed,“ not a hair of your son will fall to the ground.”

Then she said,“ Please let the king remember the Lord your God, and do not permit the avenger of blood to destroy anymore, lest they destroy my son.” And he said,“ As the Lord lives, not one hair of your son shall fall to the ground.”

Then said she, I pray thee, let the king remember Jehovah thy God, that the avenger of blood destroy not any more, lest they destroy my son. And he said, As Jehovah liveth, there shall not one hair of thy son fall to the earth.

She replied,“ Please, may the king invoke the Lord your God, so that the avenger of blood will not increase the loss, and they will not eliminate my son!”“ As the Lord lives,” he vowed,“ not a hair of your son will fall to the ground.”

Then said she, I pray thee, let the king remember the LORD thy God, that thou wouldest not suffer the revengers of blood to destroy any more, lest they destroy my son. And he said,[ As] the LORD liveth, there shall not one hair of thy son fall to the earth.

She replied,“ In that case, let the king invoke the name of the LORD your God so that the avenger of blood may not kill! Then they will not destroy my son!” He replied,“ As surely as the LORD lives, not a single hair of your son’s head will fall to the ground.”

Then she said,“ Please let the king remember Yahweh your God, that the avenger of blood destroy not any more, lest they destroy my son.” He said,“ As Yahweh lives, not one hair of your son shall fall to the earth.”

But the people said to Saul,“ Must Jonathan die, he who has brought about this great victory in Israel? Far from it! As the Lord lives, not even a hair of his head shall fall to the ground, because he has worked with God this day.” So the people rescued Jonathan and he did not die.

The blood avenger himself shall put the murderer to death; he himself shall put him to death when he meets him.

But even the hairs of your head are all counted.

“ Now this is the case of the one who commits manslaughter, who may flee there and live: when he kills his friend unintentionally, not hating him previously—as when a person goes into the forest with his friend to cut wood, and his hand swings the axe to cut down the tree, and the iron head slips off the handle and strikes his friend so that he dies— he may flee to one of these cities and live.Otherwise, the avenger of blood might pursue him in the heat of his anger, and overtake him because the way is long, and take his life, though he was not sentenced to death since he had not hated him previously.Therefore I command you, saying,‘ You shall set aside for yourself three cities.’“ And if the Lord your God enlarges your territory, just as He has sworn to your fathers, and gives you all the land that He promised to give your fathers—if you carefully follow all of this commandment which I am commanding you today, to love the Lord your God, and to walk in His ways always— then you shall add three more cities for yourself, besides these three.So innocent blood will not be shed in the midst of your land which the Lord your God is giving you as an inheritance, and guilt for bloodshed will not be on you.

or if he struck him with his hand with hostility, and as a result he died, the one who struck him must be put to death; he is a murderer. The blood avenger shall put the murderer to death when he meets him.

And Solomon said,“ If he is a worthy man, not one of his hairs will fall to the ground; but if wickedness is found in him, he will die.”

Therefore, I encourage you to take some food, for this is for your survival, for not a hair from the head of any of you will perish.”

So Saul swore an oath to her by the Lord, saying,“ As the Lord lives, no punishment shall come upon you for this thing.”

Then Jonathan said to David,“ Go in safety, since we have sworn to each other in the name of the Lord, saying,‘ The Lord will be between me and you, and between my descendants and your descendants forever.’ ” So David set out and went on his way, while Jonathan went into the city.

so that one who commits manslaughter by killing a person unintentionally, without premeditation, may flee there, and they shall become your refuge from the avenger of blood.Then he shall flee to one of these cities, and shall stand at the entrance of the gate of the city, and state his case in the presence of the elders of that city; and they shall receive him into the city to them and give him a place, so that he may remain among them.Now if the avenger of blood pursues him, then they are not to hand the one who committed manslaughter over to him, since he struck his neighbor without premeditation and did not hate him previously.And he shall remain in that city until he stands before the congregation for judgment, until the death of the one who is high priest in those days. Then he shall return to his own city and to his own house, to the city from which he fled.’ ”

And if you will swear,‘ As the Lord lives,’ In truth, in justice, and in righteousness; Then the nations will bless themselves in Him, And in Him they will boast.”

But Abram said to the king of Sodom,“ I have sworn to the Lord God Most High, Possessor of heaven and earth,

and the blood avenger finds him outside the border of his city of refuge, and the blood avenger kills him, he will not be guilty of bloodshed,

If you mistreat my daughters, or if you take wives besides my daughters, although no one is with us, see, God is witness between you and me.”

Abraham said to his servant, the oldest of his household who was in charge of all that he owned,“ Please place your hand under my thigh,and I will make you swear by the Lord, the God of heaven and the God of earth, that you shall not take a wife for my son from the daughters of the Canaanites, among whom I live;
