婦人說：“願王記念耶和華你的神，不許報血仇的人多行殺戮，免得他們滅絕我的兒子。”王說：“我指著永活的耶和華起誓，你的兒子連一根頭髮也不會落在地上。”

妇人说：“愿王记念耶和华你的神，不许报血仇的人施行灭绝，恐怕他们灭绝我的儿子。”王说：“我指着永生的耶和华起誓：你的儿子连一根头发也不致落在地上。”

妇人说：“愿王对耶和华—你的上帝发誓，不许报血仇的人施行毁灭，免得他们灭绝我的儿子。”王说：“我指着永生的耶和华起誓：你的儿子连一根头发也不致落在地上。”

妇人说：“愿王对耶和华—你的神发誓，不许报血仇的人施行毁灭，免得他们灭绝我的儿子。”王说：“我指着永生的耶和华起誓：你的儿子连一根头发也不致落在地上。”

妇人说：“求王凭你的上帝耶和华起誓，不许报仇者杀人，留我儿一命。”王说：“我凭永活的耶和华起誓，你的儿子必毫发无损。”

妇人说：“愿王记念耶和华你的神，不许报血仇的人多行杀戮，免得他们灭绝我的儿子。”王说：“我指着永活的耶和华起誓，你的儿子连一根头发也不会落在地上。”

婦人說：『願王懷念着永恆主你的上帝，不許報血仇的多行殺滅，來除滅我兒子。』王說：『我指着永活的永恆主來起誓，你兒子連一根頭髮也不至於落地。』

她說：「請王提說耶和華你的神為證，不讓追討血債的人增添毀滅，以免他們把我的兒子除滅了。」王說：「我指著耶和華的永生起誓：你兒子連一根頭髮也不會落在地上。」

婦曰、請王念爾上帝耶和華、不許報仇者復加殺害、免滅吾子、曰、我指維生之耶和華而誓、爾子之一髮、不隕於地、

曰、報仇之戚屬、欲加殺害、請王念爾之上帝耶和華、毋許其滅我子。王曰、我指耶和華以誓、汝子之一毫不隕於地。

婦曰、求王念主爾之天主、不許復仇者、更加殺害、恐滅我子、王曰、我指永生主而誓、爾子之一髮、亦不隕於地、

She said,“ Then let the king invoke the Lord his God to prevent the avenger of blood from adding to the destruction, so that my son will not be destroyed.”“ As surely as the Lord lives,” he said,“ not one hair of your son’s head will fall to the ground.”

She said,“ Please pray to the Lord your God. Pray that he will keep our nearest male relative from killing my other son. Then my son won’t be destroyed.”“ You can be sure that the Lord lives,” the king said.“ And you can be just as sure that not one hair of your son’s head will fall to the ground.”

Then she said,“ Please let the king invoke the Lord your God, that the avenger of blood kill no more, and my son be not destroyed.” He said,“ As the Lord lives, not one hair of your son shall fall to the ground.”

Then she said,“ Please swear to me by the Lord your God that you won’t let anyone take vengeance against my son. I want no more bloodshed.”“ As surely as the Lord lives,” he replied,“ not a hair on your son’s head will be disturbed!”

She replied,“ Please, may the king invoke the LORD your God, so that the avenger of blood will not increase the loss, and they will not eliminate my son!”“ As the LORD lives,” he vowed,“ not a hair of your son will fall to the ground.”

Then she said,“ May the king please remember the Lord your God, so that the avenger of blood will not continue to destroy, otherwise they will destroy my son.” And he said,“ As the Lord lives, not one hair of your son shall fall to the ground.”

Then she said,“ Please let the king remember the Lord your God, and do not permit the avenger of blood to destroy anymore, lest they destroy my son.” And he said,“ As the Lord lives, not one hair of your son shall fall to the ground.”

Then said she, I pray thee, let the king remember Jehovah thy God, that the avenger of blood destroy not any more, lest they destroy my son. And he said, As Jehovah liveth, there shall not one hair of thy son fall to the earth.

She replied,“ Please, may the king invoke the Lord your God, so that the avenger of blood will not increase the loss, and they will not eliminate my son!”“ As the Lord lives,” he vowed,“ not a hair of your son will fall to the ground.”

Then said she, I pray thee, let the king remember the LORD thy God, that thou wouldest not suffer the revengers of blood to destroy any more, lest they destroy my son. And he said,[ As] the LORD liveth, there shall not one hair of thy son fall to the earth.

She replied,“ In that case, let the king invoke the name of the LORD your God so that the avenger of blood may not kill! Then they will not destroy my son!” He replied,“ As surely as the LORD lives, not a single hair of your son’s head will fall to the ground.”

Then she said,“ Please let the king remember Yahweh your God, that the avenger of blood destroy not any more, lest they destroy my son.” He said,“ As Yahweh lives, not one hair of your son shall fall to the earth.”

眾民對掃羅說：“約拿單在以色列人中行了這樣大的拯救，難道一定要他死嗎？絕對不可以！我們指著永活的耶和華起誓，連他一根頭髮也不可落在地上，因為他今天是與神一同作工。”這樣，眾民救了約拿單，使他免了一死。

報血仇的，要親自把那故意殺人的殺死；一遇見他，就可以殺死他。

甚至你們的頭髮都一一數過了。

“誤殺人的逃到那裡，就可以存活，規例是這樣：無意殺了人，彼此又素無仇恨的，譬如他和鄰舍同進森林砍伐樹木，他手裡揮著斧子砍伐樹木的時候，斧頭竟脫了把，落在鄰舍身上，以致那人死了，他就可以逃到這些城中的一座去，這樣他就可以活命，免得報血仇的，心中怒火如焚的時候，追趕那誤殺人的，因為路途長遠，就追上了他，把他殺死；其實他沒有該死的罪，因為他和那人素無仇恨。因此我吩咐你：‘你要為自己分別三座城。’如果耶和華你的神照著他向你列祖起過的誓，擴張你的境界，把他應許賜給你列祖的全地，都賜給了你，如果你謹守遵行我今日吩咐你的這一切誡命，愛耶和華你的神，常常行他的道路，你就要在這三座城以外，再加添三座城；免得無辜人的血，流在耶和華你的神要賜給你作產業的地上，以致流人血的罪歸在你身上。

或者因仇恨用手打人，以致把人打死；那打人的，必被處死，因為他是故意殺人的；報血仇的一遇見兇手，就可以殺死他。

所羅門說：“他若是作一個忠義的人，他的頭髮連一根也不會掉在地上；但在他身上若是發現有甚麼惡行，他必定死。”

所以，我勸你們吃點飯，這可以維持你們的性命！因為你們沒有人會失掉一根頭髮。”

掃羅指著耶和華起誓說：“我指著永活的耶和華起誓，你必不因這事受懲罰。”

約拿單對大衛說：“你平平安安走吧！我們二人曾指著耶和華的名起誓說：‘願耶和華在你我之間，也在我的後裔和你的後裔之間作證，直到永遠。’”大衛就起身離開，約拿單也回城裡去了（“大衛就起身離開，約拿單也回城裡去了。”在《馬索拉文本》為21:1）。

好使那出於錯誤、並非蓄意殺人的，可以逃到那裡去；這些城要成為你們逃避報血仇的人的避難所。那殺人的要逃到這些城中的一座，站在城門口，把自己的事情向城中的眾長老述說，長老就要把他接入城中，到他們那裡，並要給他地方，使他可以住在他們中間。如果報血仇的人追趕他，長老不可把他交在報血仇的人手裡，因為他並非蓄意殺人，他以前與他並沒有仇恨。那殺人的要住在那城裡，直到他站在會眾面前受審；等到當時的大祭司死了，才可以回到本城本家，回到他逃出來的城那裡。’”

如果你憑真理、公正、公義，指著永活的耶和華起誓；列國就必因耶和華蒙福，也必以他為榮。”

亞伯蘭對所多瑪王說：“我已經向創造天地的主、至高的神耶和華舉手起誓；

報血仇的在避難城境外遇著他，把他殺了，報血仇的就沒有犯流人血的罪。

你若苦待我的女兒，或在我的女兒以外，另娶妻子，雖然沒有人在我們中間作證，但你要注意，神就是你我之間的見證人。”

亞伯拉罕對他家中最老的，管理他所有產業的那僕人說：“請把你的手放在我的大腿底下。我要你指著耶和華天地的神起誓，不可從我現在居住的迦南人中，為我的兒子娶他們的女子為妻。
