押沙龙去见王说：“看哪！现在你的仆人雇了人剪羊毛；请王和王的臣仆与我一同去。”

押沙龍來見王，說：「現在有人為僕人剪羊毛，請王和王的臣僕與僕人同去。」

押沙龍來到王那裏，說：「看哪，有人正為你的僕人剪羊毛，請王和王的臣僕與你的僕人同去。」

他去見王，說：「我的工人正在剪羊毛，請王和眾臣僕跟我一起去吧。」

押沙龍來見王說：『看哪，現在有剪羊毛的人為僕人剪羊毛；請王和王的臣僕跟僕人一同去。』

乃覲王曰、有人為僕剪羊毛、請王及臣僕、與爾僕偕往、

覲王曰、臣僕僱人往剪羊毛、請王及群臣與我偕行。

押沙龍見王曰、有人為僕翦羊毛、請王與王之臣僕、同往筵宴、

Absalom went to the king and said,“ Your servant has had shearers come. Will the king and his attendants please join me?”

Absalom went to the king. He said,“ I’ve had my workers come to clip the wool. Will you and your attendants please join me?”

And Absalom came to the king and said,“ Behold, your servant has sheepshearers. Please let the king and his servants go with your servant.”

He went to the king and said,“ My sheep shearers are now at work. Would the king and his servants please come to celebrate the occasion with me?”

Then he went to the king and said,“ Your servant has just hired sheepshearers. Will the king and his servants please come with your servant?”

And Absalom came to the king and said,“ Behold now, your servant has sheepshearers; may the king and his servants please go with your servant.”

Then Absalom came to the king and said,“ Kindly note, your servant has sheepshearers; please, let the king and his servants go with your servant.”

And Absalom came to the king, and said, Behold now, thy servant hath sheep- shearers; let the king, I pray thee, and his servants go with thy servant.

Then he went to the king and said,“ Your servant has just hired sheepshearers. Will the king and his servants please come with your servant?”

And Absalom came to the king, and said, Behold now, thy servant hath sheepshearers; let the king, I beseech thee, and his servants go with thy servant.

Then Absalom went to the king and said,“ My shearers have begun their work. Let the king and his servants go with me.”

Absalom came to the king, and said,“ See now, your servant has sheep shearers. Please let the king and his servants go with your servant.”

他的口如奶油光滑，他的心却怀着敌意；他的话比油柔和，其实是拔出的刀。

人人向邻舍说谎；他们说话嘴唇油滑，心口不一。

大卫对乌利亚说：“下到你家去，洗洗脚吧！”乌利亚出了王宫，随后王送他一份礼物。乌利亚却和他主人所有的仆人一同睡在王宫门口，没有下到他家去。有人告诉大卫说：“乌利亚没有下到他的家。”大卫就对乌利亚说：“你不是从远路上来吗？为什么不下到你家去呢？”乌利亚对大卫说：“约柜，以色列和犹大都留在棚里，我主约押和我主的仆人都在田野安营，我岂可回家吃喝，与妻子同房呢？我指着王和王的性命起誓：‘我绝不做这事！’”大卫对乌利亚说：“你今日仍留在这里，明日我打发你去。”于是乌利亚那日留在耶路撒冷。次日，大卫召了乌利亚来，叫他在自己面前吃喝，使他喝醉。黄昏的时候，乌利亚出去，躺卧在自己的床上；与他主的仆人在一起，并没有下到他的家去。早晨，大卫写信给约押，交乌利亚亲手带去。他在信内写着说：“要派乌利亚到战争激烈的前线去，然后你们撤退离开他，使他被击杀而死。”

尼探雅的儿子以实玛利从米斯巴出来迎接他们，随走随哭，遇见了他们，就对他们说：“你们可以到亚希甘的儿子基大利那里。”他们到了城中，尼探雅的儿子以实玛利和与他一起的人就把他们杀了，丢在坑里。
