亞多尼雅在隱羅結旁邊、瑣希列石頭附近宰獻了羊、牛、肥畜，請他的眾弟兄、就是王的兒子、和所有做王臣僕的猶大人，

因為他今天已經下去，宰獻了許多公牛、肥畜、和羊，請了王的眾兒子、和軍長、以及祭司亞比亞他；看哪，他們正在亞多尼雅面前喫喝，說：「願亞多尼雅王萬歲！」呢。

現在我聽說你正有剪羊毛的人在剪羊毛：你的牧人曾經和我們在一處，我們沒有侮辱他們；儘他們在迦密的日子、他們總未曾遺失甚麼。
