Why did you despise the word of the Lord by doing what is evil in his eyes? You struck down Uriah the Hittite with the sword and took his wife to be your own. You killed him with the sword of the Ammonites.

Why did you turn your back on what I told you to do? You did what is evil in my sight. You made sure that Uriah, the Hittite, would be killed in battle. You took his wife to be your own. You let the men of Ammon kill him with their swords.

Why have you despised the word of the Lord, to do what is evil in his sight? You have struck down Uriah the Hittite with the sword and have taken his wife to be your wife and have killed him with the sword of the Ammonites.

Why, then, have you despised the word of the Lord and done this horrible deed? For you have murdered Uriah the Hittite with the sword of the Ammonites and stolen his wife.

Why then have you despised the LORD’s command by doing what I consider evil? You struck down Uriah the Hethite with the sword and took his wife as your own wife— you murdered him with the Ammonite’s sword.

Wherefore hast thou despised the word of Jehovah, to do that which is evil in his sight? thou hast smitten Uriah the Hittite with the sword, and hast taken his wife to be thy wife, and hast slain him with the sword of the children of Ammon.

何不聽耶和華命、乃作惡於其前、見敵所有、而行劫奪。

昔有犯摩西律法者、若二三人為證、必殺之不恤、況蹂躪上帝子、以贖己之約之血為不潔、狎侮施恩之聖神、爾意其人受刑、當如何重哉、

橫逆與卜筮之罪無異、抗戾與拜偶之咎相同。不聽耶和華命、故耶和華使爾國祚不永。

耶和華又曰、猶大犯罪、至三至四、更藐視我法度、不守我禮儀、其祖奉事虛偽、彼亦昏迷於道、故我必罰其罪、

大闢遣使取之、既至與之偕寢、婦蒙不潔、自濯其身而歸。

爾既藐視我、以赫人烏利亞之妻為妻、人必以刃擊爾家、歷久不已。

詰朝大闢致書約押、付於烏利亞手。書曰、戰事孔亟之時、使烏利亞列於前茅、命眾悉退、留彼獨在、被擊而死。約押攻城、知敵勁旅之所在、而使烏利亞與戰、邑眾悉出以戰約押、大闢臣僕殞沒者數人、赫人烏利亞亦死。約押遣人、以戰事告大闢、囑使者曰、汝以戰事告王、既畢其言、如王怒曰、戰鬥之際、何逼近城垣、豈不知敵將自城射我乎。昔耶魯庇設子亞庇米力、戰於提拜士、誰擊之死、非婦自墻擲磨石之上層、中之而喪亡乎。汝既知此、何近於城。則對曰、王之臣僕赫人烏利亞亦死。使者至、以約押言告大闢、使者曰、敵勝於我、出野與我相角、我復追襲、逼近邑門、矢人自城上射爾臣僕、數人殞亡、王之臣僕赫人烏利亞亦死。大闢謂使者曰、汝必告約押曰、勿以此為憂、亡於刃者、或彼或此、爾當攻城、愈奮其力、期以必陷、爾以是言勵其銳志。烏利亞妻、聞夫已亡、為之哀泣、哀既止、大闢遣人、召之入宮、為妻生子、然大闢所為、耶和華不悅。

或獸傷人、或人相殺、凡流血殞命、殘害兄弟者、我必伸其冤。余造世人、與我維肖、故流人血者、人必流其血。

毋殺人。毋行淫、

我蹈愆尤、獲罪於爾、即責予、爾亦稱義、即鞫予、爾亦為善兮。

耶和華萬有之真宰、以色列族之聖主、定律例、立法度、彼蔑棄之、藐視之、故必敗亡、若火之燬稈、若燄之燃蒭、本實必撥、花蕊必謝、

耶和華兮、爾鑒察予兮、我或坐或起、或寢或興、爾知之稔兮、念慮未萌、爾知之久兮、我之步履、爾察之詳兮、

余有罪愆、爾癉之兮、余有隱慝、爾相之兮、

在便欣嫩谷、焚獻其子、亦用術數、卜筮、從巫覡、憑卜神、於耶和華前、多行不義、干厥震怒。

若其犯罪、毫無畏葸、則欺我孰甚、不論宗族賓旅必殄絕於民中。既藐視我命、干犯我律、其罪歸之、悉行殲滅。○
