Why did you despise the word of the Lord by doing what is evil in his eyes? You struck down Uriah the Hittite with the sword and took his wife to be your own. You killed him with the sword of the Ammonites.

Why did you turn your back on what I told you to do? You did what is evil in my sight. You made sure that Uriah, the Hittite, would be killed in battle. You took his wife to be your own. You let the men of Ammon kill him with their swords.

Why have you despised the word of the Lord, to do what is evil in his sight? You have struck down Uriah the Hittite with the sword and have taken his wife to be your wife and have killed him with the sword of the Ammonites.

Why, then, have you despised the word of the Lord and done this horrible deed? For you have murdered Uriah the Hittite with the sword of the Ammonites and stolen his wife.

Why then have you despised the LORD’s command by doing what I consider evil? You struck down Uriah the Hethite with the sword and took his wife as your own wife— you murdered him with the Ammonite’s sword.

人干犯摩西的律法，憑兩三個見證人，尚且不得憐恤而死，何況人踐踏神的兒子，將那使他成聖之約的血當作平常，又褻慢施恩的聖靈，你們想，他要受的刑罰該怎樣加重呢！

悖逆的罪與行邪術的罪相等；頑梗的罪與拜虛神和偶像的罪相同。你既厭棄耶和華的命令，耶和華也厭棄你作王。

耶和華如此說：猶大人三番四次地犯罪，我必不免去他們的刑罰；因為他們厭棄耶和華的訓誨，不遵守他的律例。他們列祖所隨從虛假的偶像使他們走迷了。

大衛差人去，將婦人接來；那時她的月經才得潔淨。她來了，大衛與她同房，她就回家去了。

你既藐視我，娶了赫人烏利亞的妻為妻，所以刀劍必永不離開你的家。』

次日早晨，大衛寫信與約押，交烏利亞隨手帶去。信內寫着說：「要派烏利亞前進，到陣勢極險之處，你們便退後，使他被殺。」約押圍城的時候，知道敵人那裏有勇士，便將烏利亞派在那裏。城裏的人出來和約押打仗；大衛的僕人中有幾個被殺的，赫人烏利亞也死了。於是，約押差人去將爭戰的一切事告訴大衛，又囑咐使者說：「你把爭戰的一切事對王說完了，王若發怒，問你說：『你們打仗為甚麼挨近城牆呢？豈不知敵人必從城上射箭嗎？從前打死耶路‧比設兒子亞比米勒的是誰呢？豈不是一個婦人從城上拋下一塊上磨石來，打在他身上，他就死在提備斯嗎？你們為甚麼挨近城牆呢？』你就說：『王的僕人－赫人烏利亞也死了。』」使者起身，來見大衛，照着約押所吩咐他的話奏告大衛。使者對大衛說：「敵人強過我們，出到郊野與我們打仗，我們追殺他們，直到城門口。射箭的從城上射王的僕人，射死幾個，赫人烏利亞也死了。」王向使者說：「你告訴約押說：『不要因這事愁悶，刀劍或吞滅這人或吞滅那人，沒有一定的；你只管竭力攻城，將城傾覆。』可以用這話勉勵約押。」烏利亞的妻聽見丈夫烏利亞死了，就為他哀哭。哀哭的日子過了，大衛差人將她接到宮裏，她就作了大衛的妻，給大衛生了一個兒子。但大衛所行的這事，耶和華甚不喜悅。

他們若行我眼中看為惡的事，不聽從我的話，我就必後悔，不將我所說的福氣賜給他們。

流你們血、害你們命的，無論是獸是人，我必討他的罪，就是向各人的弟兄也是如此。凡流人血的，他的血也必被人所流，因為神造人是照自己的形像造的。

「不可殺人。「不可姦淫。

我向你犯罪，惟獨得罪了你；在你眼前行了這惡，以致你責備我的時候顯為公義，判斷我的時候顯為清正。

火苗怎樣吞滅碎稭，乾草怎樣落在火焰之中，照樣，他們的根必像朽物，他們的花必像灰塵飛騰；因為他們厭棄萬軍之耶和華的訓誨，藐視以色列聖者的言語。

耶和華啊，你已經鑒察我，認識我。我坐下，我起來，你都曉得；你從遠處知道我的意念。

你將我們的罪孽擺在你面前，將我們的隱惡擺在你面光之中。

並在欣嫩子谷使他的兒女經火，又觀兆，用法術，行邪術，立交鬼的和行巫術的，多行耶和華眼中看為惡的事，惹動他的怒氣，

但那擅敢行事的，無論是本地人是寄居的，他褻瀆了耶和華，必從民中剪除。因他藐視耶和華的言語，違背耶和華的命令，那人總要剪除；他的罪孽要歸到他身上。」
