Why did you despise the word of the Lord by doing what is evil in his eyes? You struck down Uriah the Hittite with the sword and took his wife to be your own. You killed him with the sword of the Ammonites.

Why did you turn your back on what I told you to do? You did what is evil in my sight. You made sure that Uriah, the Hittite, would be killed in battle. You took his wife to be your own. You let the men of Ammon kill him with their swords.

Why have you despised the word of the Lord, to do what is evil in his sight? You have struck down Uriah the Hittite with the sword and have taken his wife to be your wife and have killed him with the sword of the Ammonites.

Why, then, have you despised the word of the Lord and done this horrible deed? For you have murdered Uriah the Hittite with the sword of the Ammonites and stolen his wife.

Why then have you despised the LORD’s command by doing what I consider evil? You struck down Uriah the Hethite with the sword and took his wife as your own wife— you murdered him with the Ammonite’s sword.

Why have you despised the word of the Lord, by doing evil in His sight? You have struck and killed Uriah the Hittite with the sword, you have taken his wife as your wife, and you have slaughtered him with the sword of the sons of Ammon.

Why have you despised the commandment of the Lord, to do evil in His sight? You have killed Uriah the Hittite with the sword; you have taken his wife to be your wife, and have killed him with the sword of the people of Ammon.

Wherefore hast thou despised the word of Jehovah, to do that which is evil in his sight? thou hast smitten Uriah the Hittite with the sword, and hast taken his wife to be thy wife, and hast slain him with the sword of the children of Ammon.

如果有人干犯了摩西的律法，憑著兩三個證人，他尚且得不到憐憫而死；何況是踐踏神的兒子，把那使他成聖的立約的血當作俗物，又侮辱施恩的聖靈的人，你們想想，他不是應該受更嚴厲的刑罰嗎？

因為悖逆與行邪術的罪相同，頑梗與拜虛無偶像一樣，因為你棄絕了耶和華的話，耶和華也棄絕了你作王。”

“耶和華這樣說：‘猶大三番四次犯罪，我必不收回懲罰他的命令；因為他棄絕耶和華的律法，不遵守他的典章；反被他們列祖跟從的偶像，使他們走錯了路。

於是大衛差派使者去把她接來。她來到大衛那裡，大衛就與她同房。那時她的月經剛得潔淨。事後，她就回家去了。

所以，從今以後，刀劍必不離開你的家，因為你藐視了我，娶了赫人烏利亞的妻子作你的妻子。’

到了早晨，大衛寫了一封給約押的信，交烏利亞親手帶去。他在信裡寫著說：“要把烏利亞派到戰鬥最猛烈的前線去，然後你們就退到他後邊，讓他被擊殺。”那時，約押正在圍城，他知道哪裡有強悍的守軍，就派烏利亞到那裡去。城裡的人出來，與約押交戰。大衛的僕人中有一些倒斃了，赫人烏利亞也死了。於是，約押派人去把戰事的一切情形都報告大衛。他又吩咐那使者說：“你把戰事的一切情形對王說完了以後，王若是大怒，責問你：‘你們為甚麼那樣靠近那城爭戰呢？你們不知道敵人會從城牆上射箭下來嗎？從前擊殺了耶路‧比設的兒子亞比米勒的是誰呢？不是一個婦人從城牆上把一塊磨石丟在他身上，他就死在提備斯嗎？你們為甚麼靠近城牆呢？’你就回答：‘王的僕人赫人烏利亞也死了。’”於是那使者去了；他一來到，就把約押差遣他所要說的一切都報告了大衛。那使者又對大衛說：“那些人比我們強，他們出到曠野攻打我們，我們把他們趕回城門口。那時射手從城牆上射王的僕人；王的僕人中有些陣亡了，你的僕人赫人烏利亞也死了。”大衛對那使者說：“你要對約押這樣說：‘不要為這件事難過，因為刀劍有時吞滅這人，有時吞滅那人。你只要加緊攻打這城，把城毀滅。’你要這樣鼓勵他。”烏利亞的妻子聽到丈夫烏利亞死了，就為他哀哭。守喪期一過，大衛就派人去把拔示巴接到宮裡，她就作了大衛的妻子，給大衛生了一個兒子。大衛所作的這事，耶和華看為惡。

如果他們行我眼中看為惡的事，不聽從我的話，我就必回心轉意，不把我應許的好處賜給他們。

流你們的血、害你們生命的，我必向他們追償；無論是走獸或人類，甚至各人自己的兄弟，我必要他償命。流人血的，人也必流他的血；因為神造人，是按著他自己的形象。

“不可殺人。“不可姦淫。

我得罪了你，唯獨得罪你；我行了你眼中看為惡的事，因此，你宣判的時候，顯為公義；你審判的時候，顯為清正。

因此，火舌怎樣吞滅碎稭，乾草怎樣落在火燄之中，照樣，他們的根必像腐朽之物，他們的花必像塵土飛揚；因為他們棄絕萬軍之耶和華的訓誨，藐視以色列聖者的話。

耶和華啊！你鑒察了我，你認識我。（本節在《馬索拉文本》包括細字標題）我坐下，我起來，你都知道；你在遠處就明白我的意念。

你把我們的罪孽擺在你面前，把我們的隱惡擺在你臉光之中。

並且在欣嫩子谷把自己的兒女用火燒為祭，又占卜、行邪術、用法術、交鬼和通靈；作了很多耶和華看為惡的事，惹他發怒。

但那膽大妄為的人，無論是本地人或是寄居的，褻瀆了耶和華，那人總要從民間剪除。因為他藐視耶和華的話，違犯耶和華的命令，那人必被剪除；他的罪孽要歸到他身上。”
