Why did you despise the word of the Lord by doing what is evil in his eyes? You struck down Uriah the Hittite with the sword and took his wife to be your own. You killed him with the sword of the Ammonites.

Why did you turn your back on what I told you to do? You did what is evil in my sight. You made sure that Uriah, the Hittite, would be killed in battle. You took his wife to be your own. You let the men of Ammon kill him with their swords.

Why have you despised the word of the Lord, to do what is evil in his sight? You have struck down Uriah the Hittite with the sword and have taken his wife to be your wife and have killed him with the sword of the Ammonites.

Why, then, have you despised the word of the Lord and done this horrible deed? For you have murdered Uriah the Hittite with the sword of the Ammonites and stolen his wife.

Why then have you despised the LORD’s command by doing what I consider evil? You struck down Uriah the Hethite with the sword and took his wife as your own wife— you murdered him with the Ammonite’s sword.

“耶和华这样说：‘犹大三番四次犯罪，我必不收回惩罚他的命令；因为他弃绝耶和华的律法，不遵守他的典章；反被他们列祖跟从的偶像，使他们走错了路。

于是大卫差派使者去把她接来。她来到大卫那里，大卫就与她同房。那时她的月经刚得洁净。事后，她就回家去了。

所以，从今以后，刀剑必不离开你的家，因为你藐视了我，娶了赫人乌利亚的妻子作你的妻子。’

到了早晨，大卫写了一封给约押的信，交乌利亚亲手带去。他在信里写着说：“要把乌利亚派到战斗最猛烈的前线去，然后你们就退到他后边，让他被击杀。”那时，约押正在围城，他知道哪里有强悍的守军，就派乌利亚到那里去。城里的人出来，与约押交战。大卫的仆人中有一些倒毙了，赫人乌利亚也死了。于是，约押派人去把战事的一切情形都报告大卫。他又吩咐那使者说：“你把战事的一切情形对王说完了以后，王若是大怒，责问你：‘你们为什么那样靠近那城争战呢？你们不知道敌人会从城墙上射箭下来吗？从前击杀了耶路‧比设的儿子亚比米勒的是谁呢？不是一个妇人从城墙上把一块磨石丢在他身上，他就死在提备斯吗？你们为什么靠近城墙呢？’你就回答：‘王的仆人赫人乌利亚也死了。’”于是那使者去了；他一来到，就把约押差遣他所要说的一切都报告了大卫。那使者又对大卫说：“那些人比我们强，他们出到旷野攻打我们，我们把他们赶回城门口。那时射手从城墙上射王的仆人；王的仆人中有些阵亡了，你的仆人赫人乌利亚也死了。”大卫对那使者说：“你要对约押这样说：‘不要为这件事难过，因为刀剑有时吞灭这人，有时吞灭那人。你只要加紧攻打这城，把城毁灭。’你要这样鼓励他。”乌利亚的妻子听到丈夫乌利亚死了，就为他哀哭。守丧期一过，大卫就派人去把拔示巴接到宫里，她就作了大卫的妻子，给大卫生了一个儿子。大卫所作的这事，耶和华看为恶。

如果他们行我眼中看为恶的事，不听从我的话，我就必回心转意，不把我应许的好处赐给他们。

流你们的血、害你们生命的，我必向他们追偿；无论是走兽或人类，甚至各人自己的兄弟，我必要他偿命。流人血的，人也必流他的血；因为神造人，是按着他自己的形象。

“不可杀人。“不可奸淫。

我得罪了你，唯独得罪你；我行了你眼中看为恶的事，因此，你宣判的时候，显为公义；你审判的时候，显为清正。

因此，火舌怎样吞灭碎秸，干草怎样落在火焰之中，照样，他们的根必像腐朽之物，他们的花必像尘土飞扬；因为他们弃绝万军之耶和华的训诲，藐视以色列圣者的话。

你把我们的罪孽摆在你面前，把我们的隐恶摆在你脸光之中。

并且在欣嫩子谷把自己的儿女用火烧为祭，又占卜、行邪术、用法术、交鬼和通灵；作了很多耶和华看为恶的事，惹他发怒。

但那胆大妄为的人，无论是本地人或是寄居的，亵渎了耶和华，那人总要从民间剪除。因为他藐视耶和华的话，违犯耶和华的命令，那人必被剪除；他的罪孽要归到他身上。”
