世人因自己的罪受罚，又何必怨天尤人呢？我们要省察自己的行为，重新归向耶和华。让我们举起双手，诚心向天上的上帝祷告说：

我默然不语，一言不发，因为我受的责罚是出于你。

但约伯回答说：“你说话像个愚昧的妇人。难道我们只从上帝手里接受祝福，却不接受灾殃吗？”约伯遭此不幸，仍毫无怨言。

你的衣服要经常保持洁白，头上也不要缺少膏油。

于是，大卫王走进会幕，在耶和华面前坐下，说：“主耶和华啊，我是谁？我的家算什么？你竟如此厚待我。
