And David said unto Nathan, I have sinned against the LORD. And Nathan said unto David, The LORD also hath put away thy sin; thou shalt not die.

Then David said to Nathan,“ I have sinned against the Lord.” Nathan replied,“ The Lord has taken away your sin. You are not going to die.

David said to Nathan,“ I have sinned against the Lord.” And Nathan said to David,“ The Lord also has put away your sin; you shall not die.

Then David confessed to Nathan,“ I have sinned against the Lord.” Nathan replied,“ Yes, but the Lord has forgiven you, and you won’t die for this sin.

David responded to Nathan,“ I have sinned against the LORD.” Then Nathan replied to David,“ And the LORD has taken away your sin; you will not die.

Then David said to Nathan,“ I have sinned against the Lord.” And Nathan said to David,“ The Lord also has allowed your sin to pass; you shall not die.

So David said to Nathan,“ I have sinned against the Lord.” And Nathan said to David,“ The Lord also has put away your sin; you shall not die.

And David said unto Nathan, I have sinned against Jehovah. And Nathan said unto David, Jehovah also hath put away thy sin; thou shalt not die.

David responded to Nathan,“ I have sinned against the Lord.” Then Nathan replied to David,“ The Lord has taken away your sin; you will not die.

Then David exclaimed to Nathan,“ I have sinned against the LORD!” Nathan replied to David,“ Yes, and the LORD has forgiven your sin. You are not going to die.

David said to Nathan,“ I have sinned against Yahweh.” Nathan said to David,“ Yahweh also has put away your sin. You will not die.

And David’s heart smote him after that he had numbered the people. And David said unto the LORD, I have sinned greatly in that I have done: and now, I beseech thee, O LORD, take away the iniquity of thy servant; for I have done very foolishly.

And the man that committeth adultery with[ another] man’s wife,[ even he] that committeth adultery with his neighbour’s wife, the adulterer and the adulteress shall surely be put to death.

He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh[ them] shall have mercy.

And he answered and spake unto those that stood before him, saying, Take away the filthy garments from him. And unto him he said, Behold, I have caused thine iniquity to pass from thee, and I will clothe thee with change of raiment.

And the son said unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in thy sight, and am no more worthy to be called thy son.

Who[ is] a God like unto thee, that pardoneth iniquity, and passeth by the transgression of the remnant of his heritage? he retaineth not his anger for ever, because he delighteth[ in] mercy.He will turn again, he will have compassion upon us; he will subdue our iniquities; and thou wilt cast all their sins into the depths of the sea.

Blessed[ is he whose] transgression[ is] forgiven,[ whose] sin[ is] covered.Blessed[ is] the man unto whom the LORD imputeth not iniquity, and in whose spirit[ there is] no guile.When I kept silence, my bones waxed old through my roaring all the day long.For day and night thy hand was heavy upon me: my moisture is turned into the drought of summer. Selah.I acknowledged my sin unto thee, and mine iniquity have I not hid. I said, I will confess my transgressions unto the LORD; and thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin. Selah.

Then he said, I have sinned:[ yet] honour me now, I pray thee, before the elders of my people, and before Israel, and turn again with me, that I may worship the LORD thy God.

Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done[ this] evil in thy sight: that thou mightest be justified when thou speakest,[ and] be clear when thou judgest.

Be it known unto you therefore, men[ and] brethren, that through this man is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins:And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses.

Behold, for peace I had great bitterness: but thou hast in love to my soul[ delivered it] from the pit of corruption: for thou hast cast all my sins behind thy back.

Then said I, Woe[ is] me! for I am undone; because I[ am] a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: for mine eyes have seen the King, the LORD of hosts.Then flew one of the seraphims unto me, having a live coal in his hand,[ which] he had taken with the tongs from off the altar:And he laid[ it] upon my mouth, and said, Lo, this hath touched thy lips; and thine iniquity is taken away, and thy sin purged.

Now when they heard[ this], they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men[ and] brethren, what shall we do?

And from Jesus Christ,[ who is] the faithful witness,[ and] the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,

And Saul said unto Samuel, Yea, I have obeyed the voice of the LORD, and have gone the way which the LORD sent me, and have brought Agag the king of Amalek, and have utterly destroyed the Amalekites.

Thou hast bought me no sweet cane with money, neither hast thou filled me with the fat of thy sacrifices: but thou hast made me to serve with thy sins, thou hast wearied me with thine iniquities.

I have blotted out, as a thick cloud, thy transgressions, and, as a cloud, thy sins: return unto me; for I have redeemed thee.

I have sinned; what shall I do unto thee, O thou preserver of men? why hast thou set me as a mark against thee, so that I am a burden to myself?And why dost thou not pardon my transgression, and take away mine iniquity? for now shall I sleep in the dust; and thou shalt seek me in the morning, but I[ shall] not[ be].

And he that killeth any man shall surely be put to death.

And the Spirit of God came upon Zechariah the son of Jehoiada the priest, which stood above the people, and said unto them, Thus saith God, Why transgress ye the commandments of the LORD, that ye cannot prosper? because ye have forsaken the LORD, he hath also forsaken you.And they conspired against him, and stoned him with stones at the commandment of the king in the court of the house of the LORD.Thus Joash the king remembered not the kindness which Jehoiada his father had done to him, but slew his son. And when he died, he said, The LORD look upon[ it], and require[ it].

[ As] an earring of gold, and an ornament of fine gold,[ so is] a wise reprover upon an obedient ear.

Moreover ye shall take no satisfaction for the life of a murderer, which[ is] guilty of death: but he shall be surely put to death.And ye shall take no satisfaction for him that is fled to the city of his refuge, that he should come again to dwell in the land, until the death of the priest.So ye shall not pollute the land wherein ye[ are]: for blood it defileth the land: and the land cannot be cleansed of the blood that is shed therein, but by the blood of him that shed it.

For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.

And it came to pass, as he talked with him, that[ the king] said unto him, Art thou made of the king’s counsel? forbear; why shouldest thou be smitten? Then the prophet forbare, and said, I know that God hath determined to destroy thee, because thou hast done this, and hast not hearkened unto my counsel.

Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God’s elect?[ It is] God that justifieth.Who[ is] he that condemneth?[ It is] Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.

For thou desirest not sacrifice; else would I give[ it]: thou delightest not in burnt offering.

Then Asa was wroth with the seer, and put him in a prison house; for[ he was] in a rage with him because of this[ thing]. And Asa oppressed[ some] of the people the same time.

And the king of Israel said unto Jehoshaphat,[ There is] yet one man, Micaiah the son of Imlah, by whom we may enquire of the LORD: but I hate him; for he doth not prophesy good concerning me, but evil. And Jehoshaphat said, Let not the king say so.

And Ahab said to Elijah, Hast thou found me, O mine enemy? And he answered, I have found[ thee]: because thou hast sold thyself to work evil in the sight of the LORD.

And Saul said unto Samuel, I have sinned: for I have transgressed the commandment of the LORD, and thy words: because I feared the people, and obeyed their voice.Now therefore, I pray thee, pardon my sin, and turn again with me, that I may worship the LORD.

And it came to pass, when king Jeroboam heard the saying of the man of God, which had cried against the altar in Bethel, that he put forth his hand from the altar, saying, Lay hold on him. And his hand, which he put forth against him, dried up, so that he could not pull it in again to him.

He looketh upon men, and[ if any] say, I have sinned, and perverted[ that which was] right, and it profited me not;

And he sent, and beheaded John in the prison.

If thou, LORD, shouldest mark iniquities, O Lord, who shall stand?But[ there is] forgiveness with thee, that thou mayest be feared.

But though he cause grief, yet will he have compassion according to the multitude of his mercies.

For Herod had laid hold on John, and bound him, and put[ him] in prison for Herodias’ sake, his brother Philip’s wife.For John said unto him, It is not lawful for thee to have her.And when he would have put him to death, he feared the multitude, because they counted him as a prophet.

Then the king sent unto him a captain of fifty with his fifty. And he went up to him: and, behold, he sat on the top of an hill. And he spake unto him, Thou man of God, the king hath said, Come down.
