“ If a man commits adultery with a married woman— if he commits adultery with his neighbor’s wife— both the adulterer and the adulteress must be put to death.

The one who conceals his sins will not prosper, but whoever confesses and renounces them will find mercy.

The son said to him,‘ Father, I have sinned against heaven and in your sight. I’m no longer worthy to be called your son.’

Who is a God like you, forgiving iniquity and passing over rebellion for the remnant of his inheritance? He does not hold on to his anger forever because he delights in faithful love.He will again have compassion on us; he will vanquish our iniquities.
