爾既藐視我、以赫人烏利亞之妻為妻、人必以刃擊爾家、歷久不已。

Now, therefore, the sword will never depart from your house, because you despised me and took the wife of Uriah the Hittite to be your own.’

So time after time members of your own royal house will be killed with swords. That’s because you turned your back on me. You took the wife of Uriah, the Hittite, to be your own.’

Now therefore the sword shall never depart from your house, because you have despised me and have taken the wife of Uriah the Hittite to be your wife.’

From this time on, your family will live by the sword because you have despised me by taking Uriah’s wife to be your own.

約押說：「我不能在你面前這樣耗下去！」約押手拿三枝短槍，趁押沙龍在橡樹上還活着，就刺透他的心。給約押拿兵器的十個青年圍着押沙龍，擊殺他，將他殺死。

以撒的丘壇必荒涼，以色列的聖所必荒廢；我要起來用刀攻擊耶羅波安的家。」

王戰抖，就上城門的樓房去痛哭，一面走一面說：「我兒押沙龍啊！我兒，我兒押沙龍啊！我恨不得替你死，押沙龍啊，我兒！我兒！」

還是你藐視他豐富的恩慈、寬容、忍耐，不知道他的恩慈是領你悔改嗎？

與婦人行姦淫的，便是無知，做這事的，必毀了自己。他必受損傷和羞辱，他的羞恥不得消除。

耶穌對他說：「收刀入鞘吧！凡動刀的，必死在刀下。

所羅門王指着耶和華起誓說：「亞多尼雅講這話是自己送命，不然，願神重重懲罰我。耶和華堅立我，使我坐在父親大衛的王位上，照着他所應許的為我建立家室；現在我指着永生的耶和華起誓，亞多尼雅今日必被處死。」於是所羅門王派耶何耶大的兒子比拿雅去擊殺亞多尼雅，他就死了。

夜間，神在夢中來到亞比米勒那裏，對他說：「看哪，你要死了，因為你帶來的女人，她是有丈夫的女子！」

而是整整一個月，直到肉從你們的鼻孔噴出來，使你們厭惡。因為你們厭棄那住在你們中間的耶和華，在他面前哭着說：我們為何出埃及呢？』」

「一個人不能服侍兩個主；他不是恨這個愛那個，就是重這個輕那個。你們不能又服侍神，又服侍瑪門。」

所以，那棄絕這教導的不是棄絕人，而是棄絕那把自己的聖靈賜給你們的神。

押沙龍吩咐僕人說：「你們注意，暗嫩開懷暢飲的時候，我對你們說擊殺暗嫩，你們就殺他。不要懼怕，這不是我吩咐你們的嗎？你們要剛強，作勇士！」押沙龍的僕人就照押沙龍所吩咐的，向暗嫩行了。王所有的兒子都起來，各人騎上騾子逃跑了。

萬軍之耶和華對你們說：「兒子孝敬父親，僕人敬畏主人；我既為父親，孝敬我的在哪裏呢？我既為主人，敬畏我的在哪裏呢？你們這些藐視我名的祭司啊！」你們卻說：「我們在何事上藐視你的名呢？」「你們將不潔淨的食物獻在我的祭壇上，卻說：『我們在何事上使你不潔淨呢？』你們說，耶和華的供桌是可藐視的。

因此，耶和華－以色列的神說：『我確實說過，你和你祖宗的家必永遠行在我面前，但現在耶和華卻說，我絕不會這樣做。因為尊重我的，我必尊重他；藐視我的，他必被輕視。
