爾既藐視我、以赫人烏利亞之妻為妻、人必以刃擊爾家、歷久不已。

Now, therefore, the sword will never depart from your house, because you despised me and took the wife of Uriah the Hittite to be your own.’

So time after time members of your own royal house will be killed with swords. That’s because you turned your back on me. You took the wife of Uriah, the Hittite, to be your own.’

Now therefore the sword shall never depart from your house, because you have despised me and have taken the wife of Uriah the Hittite to be your wife.’

From this time on, your family will live by the sword because you have despised me by taking Uriah’s wife to be your own.

約押說：「我不能與你留連。」約押手拿三杆短槍，趁押沙龍在橡樹上還活着，就刺透他的心。給約押拿兵器的十個少年人圍繞押沙龍，將他殺死。

以撒的邱壇必然淒涼；以色列的聖所必然荒廢。我必興起，用刀攻擊耶羅波安的家。」

王就心裏傷慟，上城門樓去哀哭，一面走一面說：「我兒押沙龍啊！我兒，我兒押沙龍啊！我恨不得替你死，押沙龍啊，我兒！我兒！」

還是你藐視他豐富的恩慈、寬容、忍耐，不曉得他的恩慈是領你悔改呢？

與婦人行淫的，便是無知；行這事的，必喪掉生命。他必受傷損，必被凌辱；他的羞恥不得塗抹。

耶穌對他說：「收刀入鞘吧！凡動刀的，必死在刀下。

所羅門王就指着耶和華起誓說：「亞多尼雅這話是自己送命，不然，願神重重地降罰與我。耶和華堅立我，使我坐在父親大衛的位上，照着所應許的話為我建立家室；現在我指着永生的耶和華起誓，亞多尼雅今日必被治死。」於是所羅門王差遣耶何耶大的兒子比拿雅，將亞多尼雅殺死。

但夜間，神來，在夢中對亞比米勒說：「你是個死人哪！因為你取了那女人來；她原是別人的妻子。」

要吃一個整月，甚至肉從你們鼻孔裏噴出來，使你們厭惡了，因為你們厭棄住在你們中間的耶和華，在他面前哭號說：我們為何出了埃及呢！』」

「一個人不能事奉兩個主；不是惡這個、愛那個，就是重這個、輕那個。你們不能又事奉神，又事奉瑪門。」

所以，那棄絕的，不是棄絕人，乃是棄絕那賜聖靈給你們的神。

押沙龍吩咐僕人說：「你們注意，看暗嫩飲酒暢快的時候，我對你們說殺暗嫩，你們便殺他，不要懼怕。這不是我吩咐你們的嗎？你們只管壯膽奮勇！」押沙龍的僕人就照押沙龍所吩咐的，向暗嫩行了。王的眾子都起來，各人騎上騾子，逃跑了。

「藐視我名的祭司啊，萬軍之耶和華對你們說：兒子尊敬父親，僕人敬畏主人；我既為父親，尊敬我的在哪裏呢？我既為主人，敬畏我的在哪裏呢？你們卻說：『我們在何事上藐視你的名呢？』你們將污穢的食物獻在我的壇上，且說：『我們在何事上污穢你呢？』因你們說，耶和華的桌子是可藐視的。

因此，耶和華－以色列的神說：『我曾說，你和你父家必永遠行在我面前；現在我卻說，決不容你們這樣行。因為尊重我的，我必重看他；藐視我的，他必被輕視。
