Now, therefore, the sword will never depart from your house, because you despised me and took the wife of Uriah the Hittite to be your own.’

So time after time members of your own royal house will be killed with swords. That’s because you turned your back on me. You took the wife of Uriah, the Hittite, to be your own.’

From this time on, your family will live by the sword because you have despised me by taking Uriah’s wife to be your own.

还是你藐视神丰富的恩慈、宽容和忍耐，不晓得他的恩慈是要领你悔改的吗？

和妇人通奸的，实在无知；行这事的，是自我毁灭。他必遭受击打，被凌辱，他的耻辱永不能涂抹。

耶稣对他说：“把你的刀收回原处！凡动刀的必死在刀下。

于是所罗门王指着耶和华起誓，说：“如果亚多尼雅不因说了这话而送命，愿神惩罚我，并且加倍惩罚我。现在，我指着永活的耶和华─那位坚立了我，使我坐在我父亲大卫的王位上，又照他所应许，为我建立家室的─起誓，今天亚多尼雅必被处死！”于是，所罗门王差派耶何耶大的儿子比拿雅去击杀亚多尼雅，他就死了。

押沙龙吩咐他的仆人说：“你们注意！暗嫩酒酣耳热的时候，我对你们说：‘击杀暗嫩！’你们就把他杀死。不要惧怕，这不是我吩咐你们的吗？你们要坚强，作勇敢的人。”押沙龙的仆人就照押沙龙所吩咐的，向暗嫩行了。王所有的儿子就起来，各人骑上自己的骡子逃跑了。

万军之耶和华对你们说：“藐视我名的祭司啊！儿子尊敬父亲，仆人敬畏主人。我若是父亲，我该受的尊敬在哪里呢？我若是主人，我应得的敬畏在哪里呢？”你们却说：“我们怎样藐视了你的名呢？”“你们把污秽的食物献在我的坛上，你们竟说：‘我们怎样污秽了你的坛呢？’因你们以为耶和华的桌子是可以藐视的。”

因此，耶和华以色列的神说：‘我曾说：你的家和你的父家，必永远行在我面前。’现在耶和华却说：‘我决不容你们这样行了，因为尊重我的，我必尊重他；藐视我的，必受到轻视。
