但是我告诉你们：凡看见妇女就动淫念的，这人心里已经与她犯奸淫了。

“我与眼睛立约，怎能凝望少女呢？

第二天，他们走路将近那城，约在正午，彼得上房顶去祷告。

你不要因她的美色而动心，也不要被她的眼皮勾引。

“你若建造新房屋，要在屋顶安栏杆，免得有人从屋顶掉下来，血就归于你家。

于是女人见那棵树好作食物，又悦人的眼目，那树令人喜爱，能使人有智慧，她就摘下果子吃了，又给了与她一起的丈夫，他也吃了。

求你叫我转眼不看虚假，使我活在你的道路中。

再睡片时，打盹片时，抱着双臂躺卧片时，你的贫穷就如盗贼来到，你的贫乏仿佛拿盾牌的人来临。

魅力是虚假的，美貌是虚浮的；惟敬畏耶和华的妇女必得称赞。

耶路撒冷的房屋和犹大君王的宫殿，就是他们在其上向天上的万象烧香、向别神献浇酒祭的宫殿房屋，都必被玷污，和陀斐特一样。’”

所以，我们不要沉睡，像别人一样，总要警醒谨慎。因为睡了的人是在夜间睡，醉了的人是在夜间醉。

他回到门徒那里，见他们睡着了，就对彼得说：“怎么样？你们不能同我警醒一小时吗？总要警醒祷告，免得陷入试探。你们心灵固然愿意，肉体却软弱了。”

他们进到房子的时候，伊施‧波设正躺在卧房的床上，他们就把他杀死，割了他的首级，拿着首级在亚拉巴的路上走了一整夜。

上帝的儿子们看见人的女子美貌，就随意挑选，娶来为妻。

万物的结局近了。所以你们要谨慎自守，要警醒祷告。

懒惰使人沉睡，懈怠的人必捱饿。

那地的族长希未人哈抹的儿子示剑看见她，就拉住她，与她同寝，玷辱了她。

我在暗中告诉你们的，你们要在明处说出来；你们耳中所听的，要在屋顶上宣扬出来。
