可是我告訴你們，凡是看見婦女就動淫念的，心裡已經犯了姦淫。

“我與自己的眼睛立了約，決不注視處女。

第二天，大約正午，他們走近那座城的時候，彼得上了房頂去禱告。

你心裡不要貪戀她的美色，也不要給她的媚眼勾引。

“如果你建造新房屋，要在屋頂上作欄杆；免得有人從那裡跌下來，流血的罪就歸到你家。

於是，女人見那棵樹的果子好作食物，又悅人的眼目，而且討人喜愛，能使人有智慧，就摘下果子來吃了；又給了和她在一起的丈夫，他也吃了。

求你使我轉眼不看虛空的事；又使我在你的道中存活。

再睡片時，打盹片時，抱著手躺臥片時，你的貧窮就必像強盜來到，你的缺乏就必像拿兵器的人來到。

艷麗是虛假的，美容是虛浮的；唯有敬畏耶和華的婦女，必得稱讚。

‘耶路撒冷的房屋和猶大列王的宮殿，都要像陀斐特一樣成為不潔；人曾在這一切房屋宮殿的屋頂上，向天上的萬象燒香，向別神澆奠祭。’”

所以，我們不要沉睡像別人一樣，總要警醒謹慎。因為睡覺的人是在晚上睡，醉酒的人是在晚上醉；

耶穌回到門徒那裡，看見他們都睡著了，就對彼得說：“你們連一個小時也不能同我警醒嗎？應當警醒、禱告，免得陷入試探；你們心靈雖然願意，肉體卻是軟弱的。”

他們進屋子的時候，伊施波設正在自己的臥室裡躺在床上，他們刺透他，把他殺死，然後割下他的頭，拿著頭顱在亞拉巴的路上走了一夜，

神的眾子看見人的女子美麗，就隨意挑選，娶作妻子。

萬物的結局近了，所以你們要謹慎警醒地禱告。

懶惰使人沉睡，閒懶的人必受飢餓。

比錄人臨門的兒子利甲和巴拿出去，約在正午炎熱的時候，來到了伊施波設的家。伊施波設正在睡午覺。

波提乏把自己所有的一切，都交在約瑟的手裡。除了自己所吃的飯以外，其他的事他一概不管。約瑟生來體格壯健，容貌俊美。
