He asked me,‘ Who are you?’ I told him: I’m an Amalekite.

他問我說：『你是甚麼人？』我說：『我是亞瑪力人。』

他問我說：『你是甚麼人？』我說：『我是亞瑪力人。』

他問我說：『你是甚麼人？』我說：『我是亞瑪力人。』

他問我是什麼人。我告訴他我是亞瑪力人。

他問我：‘你是誰？’我回答他：‘我是亞瑪力人。’

他問我說：『你是誰？』我對他說：『我是亞瑪力人。』

他問我：『你是誰？』我回答他：『我是亞瑪力人。』

曰、爾為誰、曰、亞瑪力人也、

彼曰、汝為誰。我曰、亞馬力人。

“ He asked me,‘ Who are you?’“‘ An Amalekite,’ I answered.

“ He asked me,‘ Who are you?’“‘ An Amalekite,’ I answered.

And he said to me,‘ Who are you?’ I answered him,‘ I am an Amalekite.’

“ He responded,‘ Who are you?’“‘ I am an Amalekite,’ I told him.

Then he said to me,‘ Who are you?’ And I answered him,‘ I am an Amalekite.’

And he said to me,‘ Who are you?’ So I answered him,‘ I am an Amalekite.’

And he said unto me, Who art thou? And I answered him, I am an Amalekite.

He asked me,‘ Who are you?’ I told him: I’m an Amalekite.

And he said unto me, Who[ art] thou? And I answered him, I[ am] an Amalekite.

He asked me,‘ Who are you?’ I told him,‘ I’m an Amalekite.’

He said to me,‘ Who are you?’ I answered him,‘ I am an Amalekite.’

David slaughtered them from twilight until the evening of the next day. None of them escaped, except four hundred young men who got on camels and fled.

Then David said to him,“ Who do you belong to? Where are you from?”“ I’m an Egyptian, the slave of an Amalekite man,” he said.“ My master abandoned me when I got sick three days ago.

Now go and attack the Amalekites and completely destroy everything they have. Do not spare them. Kill men and women, infants and nursing babies, oxen and sheep, camels and donkeys.’”

David and his men arrived in Ziklag on the third day. The Amalekites had raided the Negev and attacked and burned Ziklag.

“ Remember what the Amalekites did to you on the journey after you left Egypt.They met you along the way and attacked all your stragglers from behind when you were tired and weary. They did not fear God.When the LORD your God gives you rest from all the enemies around you in the land the LORD your God is giving you to possess as an inheritance, blot out the memory of Amalek under heaven. Do not forget.

David and his men went up and raided the Geshurites, the Girzites, and the Amalekites. From ancient times they had been the inhabitants of the region through Shur as far as the land of Egypt.

Then Balaam saw Amalek and proclaimed his poem: Amalek was first among the nations, but his future is destruction.

Then they came back to invade En-mishpat( that is, Kadesh), and they defeated the whole territory of the Amalekites, as well as the Amorites who lived in Hazazon-tamar.

At Rephidim, Amalek came and fought against Israel.Moses said to Joshua,“ Select some men for us and go fight against Amalek. Tomorrow I will stand on the hilltop with God’s staff in my hand.”Joshua did as Moses had told him, and fought against Amalek, while Moses, Aaron, and Hur went up to the top of the hill.While Moses held up his hand, Israel prevailed, but whenever he put his hand down, Amalek prevailed.When Moses’s hands grew heavy, they took a stone and put it under him, and he sat down on it. Then Aaron and Hur supported his hands, one on one side and one on the other so that his hands remained steady until the sun went down.So Joshua defeated Amalek and his army with the sword.The LORD then said to Moses,“ Write this down on a scroll as a reminder and recite it to Joshua: I will completely blot out the memory of Amalek under heaven.”And Moses built an altar and named it,“ The LORD Is My Banner.”He said,“ Indeed, my hand is lifted up toward the LORD’s throne. The LORD will be at war with Amalek from generation to generation.”
