以色列的女子啊！你们要为扫罗哭泣，他曾给你们穿上朱红色豪华的衣服，又给你们的外衣加上金饰。

“ Daughters of Israel, mourn over Saul. He dressed you in the finest clothes. He decorated your clothes with ornaments of gold.

“ You daughters of Israel, weep over Saul, who clothed you luxuriously in scarlet, who put ornaments of gold on your apparel.

O women of Israel, weep for Saul, for he dressed you in luxurious scarlet clothing, in garments decorated with gold.

Daughters of Israel, weep over Saul, Who clothed you in scarlet, with jewelry, Who put gold jewelry on your apparel.

Ye daughters of Israel, weep over Saul, Who clothed you in scarlet delicately, Who put ornaments of gold upon your apparel.

You daughters of Israel, weep over Saul, who clothed you delicately in scarlet, who put ornaments of gold on your clothing.

‘ Are they not finding and dividing the spoil: To every man a girl or two; For Sisera, plunder of dyed garments, Plunder of garments embroidered and dyed, Two pieces of dyed embroidery for the neck of the looter?’

Can a virgin forget her ornaments, Or a bride her attire? Yet My people have forgotten Me days without number.

in like manner also, that the women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with propriety and moderation, not with braided hair or gold or pearls or costly clothing,but, which is proper for women professing godliness, with good works.

“ Kings of armies flee, they flee, And she who remains at home divides the spoil.

Moreover the Lord says:“ Because the daughters of Zion are haughty, And walk with outstretched necks And wanton eyes, Walking and mincing as they go, Making a jingling with their feet,Therefore the Lord will strike with a scab The crown of the head of the daughters of Zion, And the Lord will uncover their secret parts.”In that day the Lord will take away the finery: The jingling anklets, the scarves, and the crescents;The pendants, the bracelets, and the veils;The headdresses, the leg ornaments, and the headbands; The perfume boxes, the charms,and the rings; The nose jewels,the festal apparel, and the mantles; The outer garments, the purses,and the mirrors; The fine linen, the turbans, and the robes.And so it shall be: Instead of a sweet smell there will be a stench; Instead of a sash, a rope; Instead of well-set hair, baldness; Instead of a rich robe, a girding of sackcloth; And branding instead of beauty.Your men shall fall by the sword, And your mighty in the war.Her gates shall lament and mourn, And she being desolate shall sit on the ground.

Do not let your adornment be merely outward— arranging the hair, wearing gold, or putting on fine apparel—rather let it be the hidden person of the heart, with the incorruptible beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in the sight of God.For in this manner, in former times, the holy women who trusted in God also adorned themselves, being submissive to their own husbands,

She is not afraid of snow for her household, For all her household is clothed with scarlet.
