So David said to him,“ Your blood is on your own head, for your own mouth has testified against you, saying,‘ I have killed the Lord’s anointed.’”

大衛曰、爾血歸於爾首、爾口自證殺耶和華之受膏者、○

大闢曰、斯人自證、殺耶和華所沐以膏者、罪當歸之。

For David had said to him,“ Your blood be on your own head. Your own mouth testified against you when you said,‘ I killed the Lord’s anointed.’”

That’s because David had said to him,“ Anything that happens to you will be your own fault. What your own mouth has spoken is a witness against you. You said,‘ I killed the Lord’ s anointed king.’ ”

And David said to him,“ Your blood be on your head, for your own mouth has testified against you, saying,‘ I have killed the Lord’s anointed.’”

“ You have condemned yourself,” David said,“ for you yourself confessed that you killed the Lord’s anointed one.”

For David had said to the Amalekite,“ Your blood is on your own head because your own mouth testified against you by saying,‘ I killed the LORD’s anointed.’”

And David said to him,“ Your blood is on your head, because your own mouth has testified against you, saying,‘ I have finished off the Lord’s anointed.’ ”

And David said unto him, Thy blood be upon thy head; for thy mouth hath testified against thee, saying, I have slain Jehovah’s anointed.

For David had said to the Amalekite,“ Your blood is on your own head because your own mouth testified against you by saying,‘ I killed the Lord’s anointed.’”

And David said unto him, Thy blood[ be] upon thy head; for thy mouth hath testified against thee, saying, I have slain the LORD’S anointed.

David said to him,“ Your blood be on your own head! Your own mouth has testified against you, saying‘ I have put the LORD’s anointed to death.’”

David said to him,“ Your blood be on your head; for your mouth has testified against you, saying,‘ I have slain Yahweh’s anointed.’”

And all the people answered and said,“ His blood be on us and on our children.”

So it shall be that whoever goes outside the doors of your house into the street, his blood shall be on his own head, and we will be guiltless. And whoever is with you in the house, his blood shall be on our head if a hand is laid on him.

But David said to Abishai,“ Do not destroy him; for who can stretch out his hand against the Lord’s anointed, and be guiltless?”

‘ For everyone who curses his father or his mother shall surely be put to death. He has cursed his father or his mother. His blood shall be upon him.

So I stood over him and killed him, because I was sure that he could not live after he had fallen. And I took the crown that was on his head and the bracelet that was on his arm, and have brought them here to my Lord.”

For it shall be, on the day you go out and cross the Brook Kidron, know for certain you shall surely die; your blood shall be on your own head.”

And he said to him,‘ Out of your own mouth I will judge you, you wicked servant. You knew that I was an austere man, collecting what I did not deposit and reaping what I did not sow.

He heard the sound of the trumpet, but did not take warning; his blood shall be upon himself. But he who takes warning will save his life.

Now we know that whatever the law says, it says to those who are under the law, that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.

lest innocent blood be shed in the midst of your land which the Lord your God is giving you as an inheritance, and thus guilt of bloodshed be upon you.

Your own mouth condemns you, and not I; Yes, your own lips testify against you.

You are snared by the words of your mouth; You are taken by the words of your mouth.

Surely for your lifeblood I will demand a reckoning; from the hand of every beast I will require it, and from the hand of man. From the hand of every man’s brother I will require the life of man.“ Whoever sheds man’s blood, By man his blood shall be shed; For in the image of God He made man.

Afterward, when David heard it, he said,“ My kingdom and I are guiltless before the Lord forever of the blood of Abner the son of Ner.Let it rest on the head of Joab and on all his father’s house; and let there never fail to be in the house of Joab one who has a discharge or is a leper, who leans on a staff or falls by the sword, or who lacks bread.”

The man who lies with his father’s wife has uncovered his father’s nakedness; both of them shall surely be put to death. Their blood shall be upon them.If a man lies with his daughter-in-law, both of them shall surely be put to death. They have committed perversion. Their blood shall be upon them.If a man lies with a male as he lies with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination. They shall surely be put to death. Their blood shall be upon them.

that the crime done to the seventy sons of Jerubbaal might be settled and their blood be laid on Abimelech their brother, who killed them, and on the men of Shechem, who aided him in the killing of his brothers.

‘ A man or a woman who is a medium, or who has familiar spirits, shall surely be put to death; they shall stone them with stones. Their blood shall be upon them.’”

If he has exacted usury Or taken increase— Shall he then live? He shall not live! If he has done any of these abominations, He shall surely die; His blood shall be upon him.

If a woman approaches any animal and mates with it, you shall kill the woman and the animal. They shall surely be put to death. Their blood is upon them.

Therefore I testify to you this day that I am innocent of the blood of all men.

So the Lord will return his blood on his head, because he struck down two men more righteous and better than he, and killed them with the sword— Abner the son of Ner, the commander of the army of Israel, and Amasa the son of Jether, the commander of the army of Judah— though my father David did not know it.Their blood shall therefore return upon the head of Joab and upon the head of his descendants forever. But upon David and his descendants, upon his house and his throne, there shall be peace forever from the Lord.”
