David said to him,“ Your blood be on your own head! Your own mouth has testified against you, saying‘ I have put the LORD’s anointed to death.’”

大衛對他說：「你的血歸到你自己頭上！因為你親口指證自己，說：『我殺了耶和華的受膏者。』」

大衛曰、爾血歸於爾首、爾口自證殺耶和華之受膏者、○

大闢曰、斯人自證、殺耶和華所沐以膏者、罪當歸之。

For David had said to him,“ Your blood be on your own head. Your own mouth testified against you when you said,‘ I killed the Lord’s anointed.’”

That’s because David had said to him,“ Anything that happens to you will be your own fault. What your own mouth has spoken is a witness against you. You said,‘ I killed the Lord’ s anointed king.’ ”

And David said to him,“ Your blood be on your head, for your own mouth has testified against you, saying,‘ I have killed the Lord’s anointed.’”

“ You have condemned yourself,” David said,“ for you yourself confessed that you killed the Lord’s anointed one.”

For David had said to the Amalekite,“ Your blood is on your own head because your own mouth testified against you by saying,‘ I killed the LORD’s anointed.’”

And David said to him,“ Your blood is on your head, because your own mouth has testified against you, saying,‘ I have finished off the Lord’s anointed.’ ”

So David said to him,“ Your blood is on your own head, for your own mouth has testified against you, saying,‘ I have killed the Lord’s anointed.’”

And David said unto him, Thy blood be upon thy head; for thy mouth hath testified against thee, saying, I have slain Jehovah’s anointed.

For David had said to the Amalekite,“ Your blood is on your own head because your own mouth testified against you by saying,‘ I killed the Lord’s anointed.’”

And David said unto him, Thy blood[ be] upon thy head; for thy mouth hath testified against thee, saying, I have slain the LORD’S anointed.

David said to him,“ Your blood be on your head; for your mouth has testified against you, saying,‘ I have slain Yahweh’s anointed.’”

In reply all the people said,“ Let his blood be on us and on our children!”

Anyone who leaves your house will be responsible for his own death– we are innocent in that case! But if anyone with you in the house is harmed, we will be responsible.

But David said to Abishai,“ Don’t kill him! Who can extend his hand against the LORD’s chosen one and remain guiltless?”

“‘ If anyone curses his father and mother he must be put to death. He has cursed his father and mother; his blood guilt is on himself.

So I stood over him and put him to death, since I knew that he couldn’t live in such a condition. Then I took the crown which was on his head and the bracelet which was on his arm. I have brought them here to my lord.”

If you ever do leave and cross the Kidron Valley, know for sure that you will certainly die! You will be responsible for your own death.”

The king said to him,‘ I will judge you by your own words, you wicked slave! So you knew, did you, that I was a severe man, withdrawing what I didn’t deposit and reaping what I didn’t sow?

He heard the sound of the trumpet but did not heed the warning, so he is responsible for himself. If he had heeded the warning, he would have saved his life.

Now we know that whatever the law says, it says to those who are under the law, so that every mouth may be silenced and the whole world may be held accountable to God.

You must not shed innocent blood in your land that the LORD your God is giving you as an inheritance, for that would make you guilty.

Your own mouth condemns you, not I; your own lips testify against you.

if you have been ensnared by the words you have uttered, and have been caught by the words you have spoken,

For your lifeblood I will surely exact punishment, from every living creature I will exact punishment. From each person I will exact punishment for the life of the individual since the man was his relative.“ Whoever sheds human blood, by other humans must his blood be shed; for in God’s image God has made humankind.”

When David later heard about this, he said,“ I and my kingdom are forever innocent before the LORD of the shed blood of Abner son of Ner!May his blood whirl over the head of Joab and the entire house of his father! May the males of Joab’s house never cease to have someone with a running sore or a skin disease or one who works at the spindle or one who falls by the sword or one who lacks food!”

If a man has sexual intercourse with his father’s wife, he has exposed his father’s nakedness. Both of them must be put to death; their blood guilt is on themselves.If a man has sexual intercourse with his daughter-in-law, both of them must be put to death. They have committed perversion; their blood guilt is on themselves.If a man has sexual intercourse with a male as one has sexual intercourse with a woman, the two of them have committed an abomination. They must be put to death; their blood guilt is on themselves.

He did this so the violent deaths of Jerub-Baal’s seventy sons might be avenged and Abimelech, their half-brother who murdered them, might have to pay for their spilled blood, along with the leaders of Shechem who helped him murder them.

“‘ A man or woman who has in them a spirit of the dead or a familiar spirit must be put to death. They must pelt them with stones; their blood guilt is on themselves.’”

engages in usury and charges interest. Will he live? He will not! Because he has done all these abominable deeds he will certainly die. He will bear the responsibility for his own death.

If a woman approaches any animal to have sexual intercourse with it, you must kill the woman, and the animal must be put to death; their blood guilt is on themselves.

Therefore I declare to you today that I am innocent of the blood of you all.

May the LORD punish him for the blood he shed; behind my father David’s back he struck down and murdered with the sword two men who were more innocent and morally upright than he– Abner son of Ner, commander of Israel’s army, and Amasa son of Jether, commander of Judah’s army.May Joab and his descendants be perpetually guilty of their shed blood, but may the LORD give perpetual peace to David, his descendants, his family, and his dynasty.”
