大闢召一少者曰、可前而擊、彼遂擊之致死。

大卫叫了一个少年人来，说：“你去杀他吧！”

Then David called one of his men and said,“ Go, strike him down!” So he struck him down, and he died.

諭長子益帖曰、爾起、殺之、其子尚幼、畏懼不敢拔刃。

王命耶何耶大子庇拿雅出擊之、以斃其命、於是國祚以定、歸於所羅門。

遂使耶何耶大子庇拿雅擊之、以斃其命。

狡者敗其謀、使事不遂、

耶何耶大子庇拿雅遂往擊約押、殺之、葬於私宅、地鄰曠野。

惡者勤勞、未必有功、義者播種、必有所獲。

昔有人在息臘告我曰、掃羅已沒、意欲報嘉音而獲賞、我反執而殺焉。況爾行惡、入義者之家、殺之於床、我豈不罰爾罪、絕爾於地乎。大闢乃命其少者殺之、斷其手足、懸於希伯崙沼上、取益破設首級、葬於希伯崙押尼耳墓。

王諭侍衛曰、耶和華之祭司、輔助大闢、知其逃遁、而不以告、故當殺之。王僕不敢遵命。王諭多益曰、汝擊祭司。以東人多益遂擊祭司、當日殺衣枲公服者八十五人。
