王吩咐左右的侍卫说：“你们转身去杀耶和华的祭司吧！因为他们帮助大卫，知道大卫逃跑却不告诉我。”但王的臣仆都不愿动手杀耶和华的祭司。王吩咐多益说：“你转身去杀祭司吧！”以东人多益就转身去杀祭司，那日杀了穿细麻布以弗得的，共八十五人，
