说：“他要来临的应许在哪里呢？因为从列祖长眠以来，万物与起初创造的时候仍是一样啊！”

“主要降临的应许在哪里？从我们的祖先长眠地下直到现在，万物依旧与创世之初一样。”

并且说：“他来临的应许在哪里呢？其实自从祖先睡了以来，一切都继续存留，与创世之初一样。”

謂降臨之許安在、自列祖寢時、萬物與初創無異、

造物以來、列祖云亡、萬物如故、主許復臨、則未之見、

『造物以來、烈祖云亡、萬物如故；臨格之言、而今安在？』

They will say,“ Where is this‘ coming’ he promised? Ever since our ancestors died, everything goes on as it has since the beginning of creation.”

They will say,“ Where is this‘ return’ he promised? Everything goes on in the same way it has since our people of long ago died. In fact, it has continued this way since God first created everything.”

They will say,“ Where is the promise of his coming? For ever since the fathers fell asleep, all things are continuing as they were from the beginning of creation.”

They will say,“ What happened to the promise that Jesus is coming again? From before the times of our ancestors, everything has remained the same since the world was first created.”

saying,“ Where is his‘ coming’ that he promised? Ever since our ancestors fell asleep, all things continue as they have been since the beginning of creation.”

and saying,“ Where is the promise of His coming? For ever since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue just as they were from the beginning of creation.”

and saying,“ Where is the promise of His coming? For since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of creation.”

看哪！他們常常對我說：“耶和華的話在哪裡？使它應驗（“應驗”原文作“來”）吧！”

你們用自己的言語使耶和華厭煩，你們還說：“我們怎樣使他厭煩呢？”因為你們說：“作惡的，耶和華都看為善，並且喜悅他們。”或說：“公義的神在哪裡呢？”

對惡行已判定的刑罰遲遲沒有執行，世人的心就充滿行惡的意圖。

他們不信耶和華，說：“他不會作甚麼，災禍必不臨到我們，我們也不會看見刀劍和饑荒。先知不過是一陣風，主的道也不在他們裡面；他們所說的必臨到他們身上。”

如果他是個壞的僕人，心裡說‘我的主人不會那麼快回來’，

那些人虛假的繩索牽引罪孽，又像用車繩拉罪惡的人，有禍了！他們說：“願他趕快、迅速地成就他的作為，給我們看看！願以色列的聖者所計劃的臨近！願它來到，好讓我們知道！”

於是羅得出去，告訴娶了他女兒的女婿說：“你們起來離開這地方；因為耶和華就要毀滅這城。”但是他的女婿以為他在開玩笑。

如果那僕人心裡說：‘我的主人不會那麼快回來’，就動手打其他的僕人使女，並且吃喝醉酒；

已有的事必再有，作過的事必再作；日光之下並無新事。

“人子啊！你們在以色列地怎麼有這一句俗語說：‘日子一天一天過去，所有異象都落空了’呢？因此，你要對他們說：主耶和華這樣說：‘我必使這一句俗語不再流行，在以色列中，人必不再引用這句俗語。’你卻要對他們說：‘日子臨近了，所有異象都必應驗。’從此，在以色列家中必不再有虛假的異象和奉承的占卜。我耶和華所說的，是我要說的話，我所說的必定成就，不再耽延。叛逆的民族啊！我所說的話必在你們還活著的日子成就。這是主耶和華的宣告。”耶和華的話又臨到我說：“人子啊！以色列家說：‘這人所見的異象是關乎許多年日以後的事，他所說的預言是指著遙遠的將來。’

因為那些日子必有災難，這是從神創世的開始到現在未曾有過的，以後也必不會再有。

但從起初創造的時候，神是‘造男造女’。

他們說：‘建造房屋的時候還沒有到；這城是鍋，我們是肉。’

我們主耶穌再來的時候，我們在他面前的盼望、喜樂或所誇耀的冠冕是甚麼呢？不就是你們嗎？

“你要寫信給在老底嘉教會的使者，說：‘那位阿們的，忠信真實的見證人，神創造萬有的根源，這樣說：

屍首在哪裡，鷹也必聚在哪裡。
