“ In addition, all the prophets who have spoken, from Samuel and those after him, have also foretold these days.You are the sons of the prophets and of the covenant that God made with your ancestors, saying to Abraham, And all the families of the earth will be blessed through your offspring.God raised up his servant and sent him first to you to bless you by turning each of you from your evil ways.”

Also, regard the patience of our Lord as salvation, just as our dear brother Paul has written to you according to the wisdom given to him.

In this way God fulfilled what he had predicted through all the prophets— that his Messiah would suffer.

Then beginning with Moses and all the Prophets, he interpreted for them the things concerning himself in all the Scriptures.

All the prophets testify about him that through his name everyone who believes in him receives forgiveness of sins.”

We also have the prophetic word strongly confirmed, and you will do well to pay attention to it, as to a lamp shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts.Above all, you know this: No prophecy of Scripture comes from the prophet’s own interpretation,because no prophecy ever came by the will of man; instead, men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.
