我儕若持守始初之信、鞏固至終、則於基督有分矣、

慎勿為人以曲學虛言所誘、循人之遺傳、世之賤質、賤質或作虛文下同非遵基督也、

謹防偽先知、其就爾、外似羊、內實豺狼、

出言矜誇虛誕、以肉體之嗜慾及邪侈之事、誘惑甫脫於妄行之人、以自由許人、而己為罪惡之奴、蓋勝人者、人即為其奴也、彼因識吾主救主耶穌基督、而得脫於世污、後復為世污所擾所服、則其後患較前尤甚、既識義道、竟背所受之聖命、莫若不識之為美、諺云、犬轉食所吐、豕既潔、復淖於污泥中、此等人誠若是也、

彼乃偽使徒、行事詭詐、貌為基督之使徒、此亦不足為奇、蓋撒但亦貌為光明之天使、彼之役、貌為義之役、亦不甚奇、終必受報、依其所行之事、○

使我儕不復為小子、中人之巧詐詭譎、及其誘惑之法、而被諸異教之風、飄蕩搖動、

然則自以為立者、慎勿傾也、

故兄弟更當殷勤、使爾蒙召蒙選之恩、堅定不移、爾若行此、則永不躓蹶、如是、門將為爾大啟、以入我主救主耶穌基督永存之國、○故爾雖知此、且堅定於所得之真道、我恆以此諸事使爾憶之、

我言當謹防法利賽及撒度該人之酵、此非為餅而言、爾何不明耶、

我身雖遠、而心則與爾偕、見爾秩然有序、堅信基督、我則甚喜、

耶穌語之曰、謹防法利賽及撒度該人之酵、

皆恆守使徒之訓、及交接之道、擘餅祈禱、

防禦犬類、防禦行惡者、防禦損割者、

昔蛇以狡詐、誘惑夏娃、我懼爾心偏邪、失去信基督之誠、亦復如是、

是以我所愛之兄弟、當堅固不搖、常務主事、蓋事主而勞、非徒然也、

因將有偽基督偽先知起、施大異跡、大奇事、若能惑選民則亦惑之、此事我預告爾、

因將有偽基督、偽先知起、施行異跡奇事、若能惑選民、則亦惑之、爾當自慎、此事我悉預告爾、

蓋如此之人、不事我主耶穌基督、惟事其口腹、以巧言媚語、誘惑樸實者之心、

爾亦當謹防之、以其屢敵我道也、

設網而羽族見之、則網徒設、

當以堅信拒之、因知爾兄弟在世、亦受此苦難、

我以此告爾、使爾時至、可憶我曾告爾、昔我不告爾者、以我尚偕爾也、

爾當憶自何處墮落、宜悔改、復行始初之行、若不悔改、我必速臨爾、遷爾之燈臺離其處、
