接著我看見一個新天新地，因為以前的天地都消逝了，海洋也不復存在了。

天地都要過去，但我的話永遠長存。

因為你們已經清楚知道，將來有一天，主會突然來到，像賊在夜裡忽然出現一樣。

「看啊！我要像賊一樣出其不意地來到。那警醒等候，看守自己衣裳，不致赤身行走蒙受羞辱的人有福了。」

同樣，現在的天地要憑上帝的話語存留到不敬虔的人被審判和毀滅的日子，那時天地要被火焚燒。

「你們都知道，一家的主人若預先知道賊什麼時候來，一定不會讓賊入屋偷竊。

你們舉目仰望穹蒼，俯首觀看大地吧。穹蒼必像煙雲消散，大地必像衣服一樣漸漸破舊，地上的居民必像蚊蠅一樣死亡。但我的救恩永遠長存，我的公義永不廢除。

我又看見一個白色的大寶座和坐在上面的那位。在祂面前，天地都逃避了，消失得無影無蹤。

所以，你們要警醒，因為你們不知道你們的主會在哪一天來。你們都知道，如果一家的主人知道賊會在半夜幾點來，就必警醒，不讓賊入屋偷竊。

因此，要回想你以前所領受、所聽見的教導，遵守這些教導，並且悔改。你若不警醒，我必在你意想不到的時候像賊一樣忽然來到。

在祂面前，群山震動，丘陵消融。在祂面前，大地隆起，世界和世上的一切都戰慄。

天地都要消亡，但你永遠長存。天地都會像外衣漸漸破舊，你必更換天地，如同更換衣服，天地都要消逝。

天上的萬象必融化，穹蒼像書卷捲起；星辰隕落，像凋零的葡萄葉，又像枯落的無花果。

天地都要過去，我的話卻永遠長存。

主——萬軍之耶和華觸摸大地，大地就消融，地上的人都要哀號；大地如埃及的尼羅河漲起退落。

「看啊，在耶和華那偉大而可畏的日子來臨以前，我必差遣以利亞先知到你們那裡。

你們要把這人交給撒旦去毀壞他的肉體，好使這人的靈魂在主耶穌再來的日子可以得救。

大地斷裂、崩潰，劇烈震動。

耶和華說：「時候將到，五穀還未收完又該耕種了，葡萄還未踩完又該栽種了。甜酒從群山上滴下，在丘嶺間流淌。

太可怕了！耶和華的日子近了，那是全能者施行毀滅的日子。

太陽要變得昏暗，月亮要變得血紅。在耶和華偉大而可畏的日子來臨以前，這些事都會發生。

千千萬萬的人聚集在審判谷，因為耶和華的日子要臨到那裡。

因為萬軍之耶和華已定了日子，要懲罰一切驕傲狂妄和自高自大的人，使他們淪為卑賤；

你們要在錫安吹響號角，在我的聖山上發出警訊，地上的居民都要戰抖，因為耶和華的日子將要來臨，已經近了。

天地都要消亡，但你永遠長存。天地都會像衣服漸漸破舊，你要像捲外衣一樣把天地捲起來。天地將如衣服一樣被更換，但你永遠不變，你的年日永無窮盡。」

至於不守本分、擅離崗位的天使，上帝也用鎖鏈將他們永遠囚禁在幽暗裡，等候最後審判的大日子到來。

在天下之主耶和華面前，群山如蠟熔化。

列邦動盪，列國傾覆。上帝的聲音使大地熔化。

群山在祂腳下熔化，猶如火中的蠟；山谷崩裂，岩石如水沿山坡傾瀉。

因為受造之物處在虛空之下並非出於情願，而是出於上帝的旨意。
