為這緣故，我提醒你要把上帝藉着我按手所給你的恩賜再如火挑旺起來。

雖然你們已經知道這些事，並且在你們已有的真道上得到堅固，我還是要常常提醒你們這些事。我認為趁我還在這帳棚的時候，應該激發你們的記憶，因為知道我脫離這帳棚的時候快到了，正如我們的主耶穌基督所指示我的。我也要盡心竭力，使你們在我去世以後時常記念這些事。

不可急於給人行按手禮；也不可在別人的罪上有份，要保守自己純潔。

耶穌基督的使徒彼得寫信給那些被揀選，分散在本都、加拉太、加帕多家、亞細亞、庇推尼寄居的人，就是照父上帝的預知，藉着聖靈得以成聖，以致順服耶穌基督，又蒙他血所灑的人。願恩惠、平安多多地賜給你們！

既然你們因順從真理而潔淨了自己的心靈，能真誠愛弟兄，就該以清潔的心彼此切實相愛。

上帝實在恩待以色列那些清心的人！

就是手潔心清，意念不向虛妄，起誓不懷詭詐的人。

清心的人有福了！因為他們必得見上帝。

對那些犯了罪的人和其餘所有的人，正如我第二次見你們的時候曾說過，現在不在你們那裏再次說：「我若再來，必不寬容。」
