因此我勸爾以天主之恩賜、即因我按手所賜於爾者、再發動之、如火復熾、

故爾雖知此、且堅定於所得之真道、我恆以此諸事使爾憶之、蓋我尚在此幕之時、勸勉爾、使爾憶此諸事、我以為宜然也、因知我幕將速撤、如我主耶穌基督示我者、故我殷勤勸勉爾、使爾於我去世之後、常憶此諸事、

勿遽按手於人、或作勿輕為人行按手之禮勿與人共罪、當守己以潔、○

耶穌基督使徒彼得、書達散處於本都、加拉太、加帕多嘉、亞西亞、比推尼信主者、即按父天主之預知蒙選、感於聖神而成聖、以致能順服耶穌基督、且得灑以其血者、願恩寵平安、多加於爾、○

爾既賴聖神、而潔己心、致能順真理、以愛兄弟無偽、則當由清潔之心、彼此切愛、

天主固然恩待以色列人、恩待心潔之人、

即手潔心清、不起妄念、不立偽誓之人、

清心者福矣、因其將見天主也、

我第二次與爾覿面時、已預言之、今與爾相離、復預言之、以書告彼曾犯罪者、及其餘之人云、我若復來、必不寛容、
