主知拯虔者於試中、而留不義者於刑下、以待鞫日、

惟主救敬虔之人、免於患難、而留不義者、待鞫日受刑、

惟主知拯救虔敬之人、脫於苦難、而留不義之人、待審判之日受刑、

觀此可見天主固知何以脫善人於危難、而將惡人留待審判之日、以受顯罰。

Since all this is true, then the Lord knows how to save godly people. He knows how to keep them safe in times of testing. The Lord also knows how to keep ungodly people under guard. He will do so until the day they will be judged and punished.

你們所受的考驗無非是人所承受得了的。上帝是信實的，他不會讓你們遭受無法承受的考驗，在受考驗的時候，總會給你們開一條出路，讓你們能忍受得了。

耶和華的眼目看顧義人，他的耳朵聽他們的呼求。耶和華向行惡的人變臉，要從地上除滅他們的名字。義人呼求，耶和華聽見了，就拯救他們脫離一切患難。耶和華靠近傷心的人，拯救心靈痛悔的人。義人多有苦難，但耶和華救他脫離這一切，

因為你遵守了我堅忍的道，我也必在普天下人受試煉的時候保守你免受試煉。

其實，凡立志在基督耶穌裏敬虔度日的，也都將受迫害。

但現在的天地還是憑着上帝的話存留，直留到不敬虔之人受審判遭沉淪的日子，用火焚燒。

亞當的七世孫以諾曾預言這些人說：「看哪，主帶着他的千萬聖者來臨，要審判眾人，證實一切不敬虔的人所妄行一切不敬虔的事，又證實不敬虔的罪人所說頂撞他的剛愎的話。」

他為我們的緣故捨己，為了要贖我們脫離一切罪惡，又潔淨我們作他自己的子民，熱心為善。

因為我們眾人必須站在基督審判臺前受審，為使各人按着本身所行的，或善或惡受報。既然我們知道主是可畏的，就勸導人；但是上帝是認識我們的，我盼望你們的良心也認識我們。

耶和華造萬物各適其用，就是惡人也為禍患的日子所造。

既然上帝沒有寬容犯了罪的天使，反而把他們丟在地獄裏，囚禁在幽暗中等候審判；

你六次遭難，他必救你；就是七次，災禍也無法害你。

你竟放任你剛硬不悔改的心，為自己累積憤怒！在憤怒的日子，上帝公義的審判要顯示出來。

你們要知道，耶和華已將虔誠人分別出來歸他自己；我求告耶和華，他必垂聽。

就是惡人在患難的日子得存留，在憤怒的日子得逃脫。

耶和華啊，求你幫助，因虔誠人斷絕了，世人中間忠信的人消失了。

為此，凡虔誠人都當趁你可尋找的時候向你禱告；大水氾濫的時候，必不臨到他。
