只搭救了那常为恶人的淫荡忧伤的义人罗得—

祂只拯救了因恶人的淫乱放荡而忧伤的义人罗得，

只救了那因恶人的淫行而常受委屈的义人罗得；

既然神拯救了那因恶人的好色行为而哀伤的义人罗得——

只搭救了那常為惡人淫行憂傷的義人羅得。（

只搭救了那常為惡人的淫蕩憂傷的義人羅得－

只搭救了那常為惡人的淫蕩憂傷的義人羅得－

祂只拯救了因惡人的淫亂放蕩而憂傷的義人羅得，

只救了那因惡人的淫行而常受委屈的義人羅得；

只援救了義人羅得，那被逆天者之邪蕩生活所壓傷的；那義人住在他們中間的時候、

既然神拯救了那因惡人的好色行為而哀傷的義人羅得——

惟拯義者羅得、即以惡人之淫佚為殷憂者、

惟義士羅得以黨惡邪僻為深憂、故上帝救之、

惟救義人羅得、彼因惡人邪僻之行而深憂、

當時所全者、惟憂心悄悄、慍於群小之義士羅德一人而已

and if he rescued Lot, a righteous man, who was distressed by the depraved conduct of the lawless

God saved Lot, a man who did what was right. Lot was shocked by the evil conduct of people who didn’t obey God’s laws.

and if he rescued righteous Lot, greatly distressed by the sensual conduct of the wicked

But God also rescued Lot out of Sodom because he was a righteous man who was sick of the shameful immorality of the wicked people around him.

and if he rescued righteous Lot, distressed by the depraved behavior of the immoral

and if He rescued righteous Lot, who was oppressed by the perverted conduct of unscrupulous people

and delivered righteous Lot, who was oppressed by the filthy conduct of the wicked

and delivered righteous Lot, sore distressed by the lascivious life of the wicked

and if He rescued righteous Lot, distressed by the unrestrained behavior of the immoral

And delivered just Lot, vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked:

and if he rescued Lot, a righteous man in anguish over the debauched lifestyle of lawless men,

and delivered righteous Lot, who was very distressed by the lustful life of the wicked

When he hesitated, the men grasped his hand and the hands of his wife and of his two daughters and led them safely out of the city, for the Lord was merciful to them. (niv)

So when God destroyed the cities of the plain, he remembered Abraham, and he brought Lot out of the catastrophe that overthrew the cities where Lot had lived. (niv)

No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it. (niv)

Now the people of Sodom were wicked and were sinning greatly against the Lord. (niv)

and said,“ No, my friends. Don’t do this wicked thing.Look, I have two daughters who have never slept with a man. Let me bring them out to you, and you can do what you like with them. But don’t do anything to these men, for they have come under the protection of my roof.” (niv)

Concerning the prophets: My heart is broken within me; all my bones tremble. I am like a drunken man, like a strong man overcome by wine, because of the Lord and his holy words. (niv)

But flee there quickly, because I cannot do anything until you reach it.”( That is why the town was called Zoar.) (niv)

Oh, that my head were a spring of water and my eyes a fountain of tears! I would weep day and night for the slain of my people.Oh, that I had in the desert a lodging place for travelers, so that I might leave my people and go away from them; for they are all adulterers, a crowd of unfaithful people.“ They make ready their tongue like a bow, to shoot lies; it is not by truth that they triumph in the land. They go from one sin to another; they do not acknowledge me,” declares the Lord.“ Beware of your friends; do not trust anyone in your clan. For every one of them is a deceiver, and every friend a slanderer.Friend deceives friend, and no one speaks the truth. They have taught their tongues to lie; they weary themselves with sinning.You live in the midst of deception; in their deceit they refuse to acknowledge me,” declares the Lord. (niv)

Therefore, dear friends, since you have been forewarned, be on your guard so that you may not be carried away by the error of the lawless and fall from your secure position. (niv)

Woe to me that I dwell in Meshek, that I live among the tents of Kedar! (niv)
