夫上帝既不惜干罪之天使、投之暗府、付之幽坎、守以待鞫、

維昔天使陷罪、上帝不赦、拘攣於暗府、幽囚於狴犴、以待審判、

昔天使犯罪、天主亦未惜之、投於地獄、縛於幽暗中、以待審判、

昔者天神之干罪也、天主且毅然投之地獄、囚之冥府、以待審判。

For if God did not spare angels when they sinned, but sent them to hell, putting them in chains of darkness to be held for judgment;

God did not spare angels when they sinned. Instead, he sent them to hell. He chained them up in dark prisons. He will keep them there until he judges them.

並且用永恆的鎖鏈把那些不守本位、離開自己居所的天使拘留在幽暗裡，直到那大日子的審判。

那時王要對在左邊的人說：『你們這些被詛咒的人！離開我！進到那已經為魔鬼和他的使者們所預備好的永遠的火裡去！

神既然沒有顧惜自己的兒子，為我們所有的人捨棄了他，難道不會把萬有也連同他一起賜給我們嗎？

接著，我看見一位天使從天上降下來，手裡拿著無底坑的鑰匙和一條大鎖鏈。他抓住了龍——那古蛇，就是魔鬼撒旦，把牠捆綁了一千年。這位天使把牠丟進無底坑裡，關上了無底坑，並用印封上，使牠不能再迷惑列國，直到那一千年完結。這些事以後，牠必須暫時被釋放。

「明亮的晨星，黎明之子啊，你怎麼會從天墜落呢？你這擊敗列國的，怎麼會被砍倒在地呢？

接著，天上發生了戰爭：米迦勒和他的天使們與龍交戰，龍和牠的使者們也應戰，可是龍不能得勝，天上再也沒有牠們的地方了。於是那巨龍被摔了下來。牠就是那古蛇，被稱為魔鬼和撒旦，那迷惑普天下的。牠被摔在地上，牠的使者們也與牠一起被摔了下來。

然後那迷惑他們的魔鬼被丟進烈火和硫磺的湖裡，就是那獸和那假先知所在的地方；他們將日夜受折磨，直到永永遠遠。

耶穌對他們說：「我看見撒旦像閃電一樣從天上墜落。

就算是天使們，雖然有更大的力量和權能，也不在主面前用毀謗的話控告他們。

那些鬼魔央求耶穌不要命令它們進無底坑去。

忽然，他們喊叫說：「神的兒子啊，我們與你有什麼關係？時候來到之前，你就來這裡折磨我們嗎？」

繼續犯罪的人屬於魔鬼，因為魔鬼從起初就一直犯罪。為此，神的兒子顯現了，是為了廢除魔鬼的作為。

你們屬於你們的父——魔鬼，並且想要隨你們父的欲望去做。他從起初就是殺人的，不站在真理之中，因為他裡面沒有真理。他說虛假之事是出於自己的本性，因為他本來就是個說謊者，並且是說謊者之父。

大聲喊叫說：「至高神的兒子耶穌，我與你有什麼關係？我藉著神懇求你，不要折磨我！」

既然神也沒有顧惜上古的世界，使洪水臨到那不敬神的世界，只保守了義的傳道者挪亞一家八口；

是海中的狂浪，湧出自己可恥的泡沫；是流蕩的星辰，有漆黑的幽暗永遠為他們存留。

那麼，主就知道怎樣拯救敬神的人脫離試煉，卻把不義的人留在懲罰之下，直到審判的日子，

因為神如果沒有顧惜原生的樹枝，恐怕也不會顧惜你。

他為自己的怒氣修平了路，不惜讓他們死亡，把他們的性命交給瘟疫。
