他們有禍了！因為他們走了「該隱的路」，又為財利奔上「巴蘭的迷途」，並且在「科拉的背叛」中滅亡了。

然而，我有幾件事要責備你，就是在你那裡有些人持守巴蘭的教導。這巴蘭曾教唆巴勒把絆腳石放在以色列子民面前，就是使他們吃祭過偶像的食物，並且行淫亂。

說：「哦，你這個充滿一切詭詐、一切奸惡的人哪！魔鬼的兒子，一切公義的仇敵！你歪曲主的正道，還不停止嗎？

他們行不義，就得不義的酬報；他們把白晝的放蕩看做是享樂；他們是汙漬和瑕疵；他們與你們一起吃喝的時候，以自己的詭詐為樂；

離棄律法的，會稱讚惡人；遵守律法的，向惡人挑戰。

後來，竟然用這個人不義的酬報買了一塊地。猶大一頭栽倒在那裡，肚腹迸裂，腸子都流出來了。

「至於我，我絕不會停止為你們禱告而得罪耶和華，我必指教你們那美善、正直的道路。
