爾有此而擴充之、則必使爾於識我主耶穌基督、不怠不荒、

有此而擴充之、則知主耶穌基督道、而自不怠不荒、

爾有此、且充溢、則識我主耶穌基督而不怠荒、無不結果、

爾等苟能存養此等美德、使之發榮滋長於爾內心、則體認吾主耶穌基督、自覺日益親切、欲罷不能、必不致華而不實也。

For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

All these things should describe you more and more. They will make you useful and fruitful as you know our Lord Jesus Christ better.

For if these qualities are yours and are increasing, they keep you from being ineffective or unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

The more you grow like this, the more productive and useful you will be in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

And let our people also learn to maintain good works, to meet urgent needs, that they may not be unfruitful.

that you do not become sluggish, but imitate those who through faith and patience inherit the promises.

Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.

that the sharing of your faith may become effective by the acknowledgment of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus.

And this I pray, that your love may abound still more and more in knowledge and all discernment,

Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord,

For if we are beside ourselves, it is for God; or if we are of sound mind, it is for you.For the love of Christ compels us, because we judge thus: that if One died for all, then all died;and He died for all, that those who live should live no longer for themselves, but for Him who died for them and rose again.Therefore, from now on, we regard no one according to the flesh. Even though we have known Christ according to the flesh, yet now we know Him thus no longer.Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.

But as you abound in everything— in faith, in speech, in knowledge, in all diligence, and in your love for us— see that you abound in this grace also.

And he went out about the third hour and saw others standing idle in the marketplace,

Examine yourselves as to whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Do you not know yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you?— unless indeed you are disqualified.

And besides they learn to be idle, wandering about from house to house, and not only idle but also gossips and busybodies, saying things which they ought not.

not lagging in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord;

that in a great trial of affliction the abundance of their joy and their deep poverty abounded in the riches of their liberality.

Laziness casts one into a deep sleep, And an idle person will suffer hunger.

And about the eleventh hour he went out and found others standing idle, and said to them,‘ Why have you been standing here idle all day?’

“ But his Lord answered and said to him,‘ You wicked and lazy servant, you knew that I reap where I have not sown, and gather where I have not scattered seed.

Now he who received seed among the thorns is he who hears the word, and the cares of this world and the deceitfulness of riches choke the word, and he becomes unfruitful.

And may the Lord make you increase and abound in love to one another and to all, just as we do to you,

and by their prayer for you, who long for you because of the exceeding grace of God in you.

If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned.If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples.

But I know you, that you do not have the love of God in you.

rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith, as you have been taught, abounding in it with thanksgiving.

Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus,

We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is fitting, because your faith grows exceedingly, and the love of every one of you all abounds toward each other,

Finally then, brethren, we urge and exhort in the Lord Jesus that you should abound more and more, just as you received from us how you ought to walk and to please God;
