We also have the prophetic message as something completely reliable, and you will do well to pay attention to it, as to a light shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts.

妙哉聖道。為我靈燈。雖行闇地。亦見光明。

蓋斯世之君、已矇不信者之心、以致基督榮耀福音之真光、亦無由照入；而基督固天主之肖影也。蓋吾人決不作自我宣傳、惟知宣揚吾主耶穌基督；而吾人則因耶穌之故、而充爾等之僕人者耳。夫天主昔嘗作光於黑暗之中矣、今乃照耀於吾人之心中、俾吾人得藉基督耶穌之聖容、而洞識天主之光榮。

導民於正、福音是布；蕩污滌穢、宿罪攸除。憑主慈腸、東方已曙；

如望乃輝煌之明燈、爾等亦曾瞻仰其光、而極一時之樂矣。

厥民處暗中、竟得睹大明；向居死蔭下、倏見曙光臨。』

耶穌又謂眾曰：『予乃世之光、從予者不行黑暗中、必具生命之光。』

惟毋食祭餘之物、牲畜之血、與勒死之牲、且勿犯姦淫；無染於斯、則善甚矣。敬祝康泰。』

此間人士賢於德颯洛尼之人、如飢若渴、樂受斯道、日研諸經、俾明真義；

因是、凡信天主聖子者、自有作證者寓乎其心。（或可譯其心中自有印證待攷）凡不置信於天主之證者、不啻以妄證之罪加諸天主矣。無他、天主為其聖子作證、而彼人竟莫之信也。

萬望勿與若輩同流合污也。蓋爾等本屬昏昏、今則因主而為昭昭矣。故行事當光明正大、庶不愧為光明之子。

天行一何健。六合任翱翔。普照無私曲。萬物被其光。妙法洵全美。我魂得歸依。靈證洵萬確。童蒙識玄機。玉律豈有瑕。祇守心自怡。聖典何皎潔。悅目驚新奇。

經云：『爾當愛人如己。』爾能守此王法、則庶幾矣。
