那些不信的人是被這世界的神弄瞎了心眼，以致看不見基督榮耀的福音之光。基督是上帝的本像。我們並非傳揚自己，而是傳揚耶穌基督是主，並且為耶穌的緣故而作你們的奴僕。因為那吩咐光從黑暗中照射出來的上帝光照了我們的心，為要讓我們認識上帝在耶穌基督的面容上所彰顯的榮耀。

由於上帝的憐憫，清晨的曙光必從高天普照我們，照亮那些生活在黑暗中和死亡陰影下的人，帶領我們走平安的道路。」

約翰是一盞點亮的明燈，你們情願暫時享受他的光。

你們住在黑暗中的人看見了大光，活在死亡陰影下的人被光照亮了！」

因為誡命是燈，訓言是光，管教責備是生命之道，

耶穌又對眾人說：「我是世界的光，凡跟從我的，必不會走在黑暗裡，必要得到生命的光。」

起來，發光吧！因為你的光已經來到，耶和華的榮耀已經照在你身上。看啊，黑暗遮蓋大地，幽暗籠罩萬民，但耶和華必照耀你，祂的榮耀必照在你身上。

要遠避祭拜偶像的事，不可吃血，不可吃勒死的牲畜，不可淫亂。你們一一遵守這些事就好了。祝平安！」

當地的人比帖撒羅尼迦人通情達理，非常樂意接受真道，還天天查考聖經，研究這道是否正確。

信上帝兒子的人心裡有這見證，不信上帝的人等於把上帝當作撒謊的，因為他不信上帝為祂兒子做的見證。

所以，你們不要與他們同流合污。你們從前活在黑暗中，現在既然活在主的光明中，行事為人就該像光明的兒女。

耶和華對偶像說：「陳明你們的理由。」雅各的王說：「拿出你們的證據吧。」告訴我們將要發生的事，給我們說說以前發生的事，我們好思想，以便明白事情的結局。向我們宣告將來的事，告訴我們以後會發生什麼，好叫我們知道你們是神明。不論降福降禍，顯顯身手吧，好叫我們一同驚懼！

耶和華的律法完美，能更新生命；耶和華的法度可靠，讓愚人有智慧。耶和華的法則公正，使人充滿喜樂；耶和華的命令純全，讓人眼目明亮。要以純潔的心敬畏耶和華，直到永遠；耶和華的法令可靠，全然公義。

如果你們能切實行出聖經中「要愛鄰如己」這條至尊的律法，就好了。
