蓋知去我幕之日速矣、一如我主耶穌基督所示我者、

吾自知棄帷幕不遠、以吾主耶穌基督示我、

因知我幕將速撤、如我主耶穌基督示我者、

且知吾之脫離此宅、即在目前、正如吾主耶穌之所預示也。

because I know that I will soon put it aside, as our Lord Jesus Christ has made clear to me.

I know my tent will soon be removed. Our Lord Jesus Christ has made that clear to me.

since I know that the putting off of my body will be soon, as our Lord Jesus Christ made clear to me.

For our Lord Jesus Christ has shown me that I must soon leave this earthly life,

since I know that I will soon lay aside my tent, as our Lord Jesus Christ has indeed made clear to me.

knowing that the laying aside of my earthly dwelling is imminent, as also our Lord Jesus Christ has made clear to me.

knowing that shortly I must put off my tent, just as our Lord Jesus Christ showed me.

knowing that the putting off of my tabernacle cometh swiftly, even as our Lord Jesus Christ signified unto me.

knowing that I will soon lay aside my tent, as our Lord Jesus Christ has also shown me.

since I know that my tabernacle will soon be removed, because our Lord Jesus Christ revealed this to me.

For I am already being offered, and the time of my departure has come.

Most certainly I tell you, when you were young, you dressed yourself and walked where you wanted to. But when you are old, you will stretch out your hands, and another will dress you and carry you where you don’t want to go.”Now he said this, signifying by what kind of death he would glorify God. When he had said this, he said to him,“ Follow me.”

Furthermore Yahweh was angry with me for your sakes, and swore that I should not go over the Jordan, and that I should not go in to that good land which Yahweh your God gives you for an inheritance;but I must die in this land. I must not go over the Jordan, but you shall go over and possess that good land.

Yahweh said to Moses,“ Behold, your days approach that you must die. Call Joshua, and present yourselves in the Tent of Meeting, that I may commission him.” Moses and Joshua went, and presented themselves in the Tent of Meeting.

“ Behold, today I am going the way of all the earth. You know in all your hearts and in all your souls that not one thing has failed of all the good things which Yahweh your God spoke concerning you. All have happened to you. Not one thing has failed of it.

“ Now, behold, I know that you all, among whom I went about preaching God’s Kingdom, will see my face no more.

“ I am going the way of all the earth. You be strong therefore, and show yourself a man;and keep the instruction of Yahweh your God, to walk in his ways, to keep his statutes, his commandments, his ordinances, and his testimonies, according to that which is written in the law of Moses, that you may prosper in all that you do, and wherever you turn yourself.
