蓋知去我幕之日速矣、一如我主耶穌基督所示我者、

吾自知棄帷幕不遠、以吾主耶穌基督示我、

因知我幕將速撤、如我主耶穌基督示我者、

且知吾之脫離此宅、即在目前、正如吾主耶穌之所預示也。

because I know that I will soon put it aside, as our Lord Jesus Christ has made clear to me.

I know my tent will soon be removed. Our Lord Jesus Christ has made that clear to me.

since I know that the putting off of my body will be soon, as our Lord Jesus Christ made clear to me.

For our Lord Jesus Christ has shown me that I must soon leave this earthly life,

since I know that I will soon lay aside my tent, as our Lord Jesus Christ has indeed made clear to me.

knowing that the laying aside of my earthly dwelling is imminent, as also our Lord Jesus Christ has made clear to me.

knowing that the putting off of my tabernacle cometh swiftly, even as our Lord Jesus Christ signified unto me.

knowing that I will soon lay aside my tent, as our Lord Jesus Christ has also shown me.

Knowing that shortly I must put off[ this] my tabernacle, even as our Lord Jesus Christ hath shewed me.

since I know that my tabernacle will soon be removed, because our Lord Jesus Christ revealed this to me.

For I am already being poured out as a drink offering, and the time of my departure is at hand.

Most assuredly, I say to you, when you were younger, you girded yourself and walked where you wished; but when you are old, you will stretch out your hands, and another will gird you and carry you where you do not wish.”This He spoke, signifying by what death he would glorify God. Then the Lord said to Moses,“ Behold, the days approach when you must die; call Joshua, and present yourselves in the tabernacle of meeting, that I may inaugurate him.” So Moses and Joshua went and presented themselves in the tabernacle of meeting.

“ Behold, this day I am going the way of all the earth. And you know in all your hearts and in all your souls that not one thing has failed of all the good things which the Lord your God spoke concerning you. All have come to pass for you; not one word of them has failed.

“ And indeed, now I know that you all, among whom I have gone preaching the kingdom of God, will see my face no more.

“ I go the way of all the earth; be strong, therefore, and prove yourself a man.And keep the charge of the Lord your God: to walk in His ways, to keep His statutes, His commandments, His judgments, and His testimonies, as it is written in the Law of Moses, that you may prosper in all that you do and wherever you turn;
