蓋知去我幕之日速矣、一如我主耶穌基督所示我者、

吾自知棄帷幕不遠、以吾主耶穌基督示我、

因知我幕將速撤、如我主耶穌基督示我者、

且知吾之脫離此宅、即在目前、正如吾主耶穌之所預示也。

because I know that I will soon put it aside, as our Lord Jesus Christ has made clear to me.

I know my tent will soon be removed. Our Lord Jesus Christ has made that clear to me.

since I know that the putting off of my body will be soon, as our Lord Jesus Christ made clear to me.

For our Lord Jesus Christ has shown me that I must soon leave this earthly life,

since I know that I will soon lay aside my tent, as our Lord Jesus Christ has indeed made clear to me.

knowing that the laying aside of my earthly dwelling is imminent, as also our Lord Jesus Christ has made clear to me.

knowing that shortly I must put off my tent, just as our Lord Jesus Christ showed me.

For I am already being offered, and the time of my departure is come.

I am going the way of all the earth: be thou strong therefore, and show thyself a man;and keep the charge of Jehovah thy God, to walk in his ways, to keep his statutes, and his commandments, and his ordinances, and his testimonies, according to that which is written in the law of Moses, that thou mayest prosper in all that thou doest, and whithersoever thou turnest thyself;
