所以你們雖已知道這些事，並在已有的真理上得到堅固，我還要時常提醒你們。

So I will always remind you of these things, even though you know them and are firmly established in the truth you now have.

弟兄們，我本人對你們、倒深信你們自己是滿有良善、充滿各樣知識、又能彼此勸戒的。但有些地方、我大膽地給你們寫信、做提醒你們的資料、是因從上帝那裏所賜給我的恩，

末了，弟兄們，願你們在主裏喜樂！我把同樣的事寫給你們，在我並不麻煩，對你們卻是妥當。

從前主曾儘一次地救了他的人民出埃及地，後來又叫不信的人滅亡；這一切事你們雖都知道了，我的意思還是要提醒你們記得。

但你們呢、親愛的，你們要記得我們主耶穌基督的使徒們先前所說的話。

我以為儘我還在這帳幕的時候，以提醒來激發你們、是正當的。

我藉着西拉、我所認為忠信的兄弟、略略地寫信、來勸勉你們，並見證這是上帝真實的恩。在這恩上你們務要站立得住。

親愛的，我寫給你們的、這已是第二封的書信了。在這兩封之中、我們都以提醒來激發你們純潔的心神，

我也要竭力盡心，使你們在我去世以後還時常追念這些事。

親愛的，我很熱切地給你們寫信、論到我們所共有的救恩，就覺得必須給你們寫點兒來勸你們要為着儘一次傳授給聖徒們的信仰而奮力鬥勝。

所以你們、親愛的，你們既先知道這些事，就該自己防備，免得被逆天者的謬妄所帶走，而從自己的堅固上墜落了。

那賜萬般恩惠之上帝、就是曾在基督裏召喚你們進入他永世之榮耀的、必在你們暫時受苦之後、親自重立你們，使你們堅固，叫你們強健，給你們立定根基。

你們要回想回想先前的日子；當時你們剛蒙了光照，就堅忍着受苦的大競鬥。

別被各殊而怪異的教訓引入歧途了；因為心靠恩惠而得堅固、不靠食物、才是好的；那些專在食物上過生活的人、從沒得過益處。

因這緣故、我才提醒你要使上帝屬靈的恩賜、藉我的按手燒𤏲在你心裏的、再熾旺起來。

你將這些事提醒弟兄們，就可以做基督耶穌的好僕役，有信仰上的話語、和你向來所追隨為標準的好教義之話語、培養着。

在他裏面扎了根，而建造起來，在你們所受教的信仰上堅固，有滿溢的感謝心。

於是眾教會在信仰上日益堅固，人數天天增加。
