So I will always remind you of these things, even though you know them and are firmly established in the truth you now have.

我的弟兄们，至于你们，我自己同样深信：你们也满有良善，充满一切知识，又能彼此劝诫。不过我要提醒你们，藉着神所赐给我的恩典，我在部分地方写得比较大胆。

此外，我的弟兄们，你们要在主里欢喜。我把同样的话写给你们，一方面对我不是麻烦，另一方面对你们是一种保护。

你们虽然知道这一切，我还想提醒你们：主一次性地把子民从埃及地救了出来，后来把那些不信的人都毁灭了，

至于你们蒙爱的人哪，你们当想起我们主耶稣基督的使徒们先前所说的话。

我认为，只要我还在这帐篷里，就理当用提醒的话来激发你们，

藉着我看为忠心的弟兄赛拉斯，我简要地写了这封信，劝勉你们，并且证明这是神真实的恩典。你们要在这恩典中站立得住。

各位蒙爱的人哪，这已经是我写给你们的第二封信。在这两封信中，我都用提醒的话来激发你们纯洁的意念，

我也要努力，使你们在我离世以后，时常想起这些事。

各位蒙爱的人哪，我一直十分殷切地要写信给你们，谈论我们共有的救恩；我感到有必要写信鼓励你们，为曾经一次性地托付给圣徒们的信仰而努力争战，

因此，各位蒙爱的人哪，你们既然预先知道了这些，就应该警惕，免得被那些恶人的迷惑引入歧途，从自己坚固的地步坠落。

然而，那赐一切恩典的神，就是在基督耶稣里召唤你们进入他永恒荣耀的那一位，在你们暂时受苦之后，将亲自使你们完备、坚固、刚强、根基稳固。

你们要回想原先的日子：当你们蒙了光照以后，忍受了许多痛苦挣扎；

你们不要被各种怪异的教导引入歧途，因为人的心靠恩典，不靠食物规定得以确立才是好的；那靠食物规定而行事的人，从来没有得到什么益处。

因这理由，我提醒你：要把神的恩赐再如火挑旺起来；这恩赐是藉着我的按手，在你里面的。

如果你把这些事向弟兄们指出来，你就是基督耶稣的好仆人，藉着信仰的话语，以及你所跟从的美善教导得着培养。

照着你们所受的教导，在他里面得以扎根、建造，在信仰上得以确立，在感谢中丰足有余。

这样，各教会在信仰上得了坚固，人数也天天增加。
